Warlock vs Broodmother mid

I find myself often mid solo against broodmother, and i was wondering why in pro replays when this scenario comes up the warlock still goes word/stats and get raped. I was wondering why they won't get fatal bonds to counter broodmothers low hp and invis. Does the hp regen in Web make fatal bonds useless?

yea it does. wl should still rape brood with word/stats pretty hard. he is still the strongest solo in the game. the problem is that he really can't stop her from pushing the lane with spiders and destroying his tower at the 10 min mark.

@ dre: nah, bite is really no problem for wl as long as he wards the place (and he's retarded if he doesn't). just word yourself and right click the bitch to permanently keep her at 50% hp. remember that wl gets infernal at 6, there is no way brood will be able to tower dive him the way she can most heroes. if she goes for you just word yourself, if she dives, drop the rock on her and push her tower while she resurrects.

as for facing brood, you need to tame her with sentries..... but once she's level 6, you're pretty much fucked if she went bite instead of spiderlings.

anything one can do about this? most of the broodmothers i play or see go bite, the tower pushing can wait, they want to farm off you first i guess. i can handle those that get spiders and push, wl still rapes. but if they go all out on bite skillwise i have to be oh so fucking careful how many pixels in front of my tower i am or i'm dead midgame.

well... tbh... a level 6 brood with ulti + level 3 bite can kill warlock faster than Rossie O Donnell can munch on a doughnut.

Infernal + word will help you if you're close to your tower(it might even kill the bitch), but still expect to be dead.

What can i say bro? Go basilus and a tango, buy sentries, play smart, keep harassing her, spam word and ask for ganks

btw, don't be upset if you get owned, slahser played a semi-decent brood solo mid a while back and got owned. Oh wait..... that was Kurorky :D

how can a warlock lose to brood? i dont see that. like seriously, u just have to harass her early and keep wording ur self. buy sentries and brood sits in her place! cant do shit against u!

if she chose to get lvl1 web and the rest is maxing spider and bite, she will have an 80% chance of winning, ofc with those heroes that doesn't have aoe abilities.
she just loves towers and around the 9min mark, if left unattended, she will devour the
3rd tower with spider and vladimirs
however, no matter how the situation looks, troll won her once during a tower raid and i'm pretty confident that troll will win her again considering the fact that her ulti is nerfed and that troll can use the new boots to hunt better

Lol troll can kill brood with equal items on level 6 1 time out of 20 mb. So if he suceeded once it doesnt mean troll > brood. And ulti isnt nerfed in this case: more bonus damage and less duration isnt a nerf but a buff i'd say for a solo vs solo lvl 6 battle :P

no, it is a NERF because its less duration regardless of the dmg buff; if you find yourself in a situation where she activated her insatiable, then just run away and wait till it waste.

and in some cases, troll>brood considering that you control her with blind, rage, stats early in the game, and that would debilitate her during the rest of the game.

i just played a game against her and found out that blind is more successful in countering her
