archers death?

this is a ne v ne mirror qeustion. mass archers with the right heros is a reallly really really good stratigy in ne v ne. but what if someone gets something like a warden with fok and abuses it :/ wouldent all archers just be dead instently. or if someon gets a warden and a panda and used fok and firebreath??? is there a item that can counter those spells kinda like that invanarable thingy that works on just heros? if so i would love to know

um...no. Mass archers is a horrible strat in the mirror. It will get raped by everything, including hunts. NEVER DO IT. Yes...if someone gets warden they will FoK abuse. To answer your question, buy scrolls of healing. But...Why?

whoever told you that needs to die.
Archers die to the following, no matter what hero backs them up.
Fan of Knives
Breath of Fire
Immolation
entangling roots
Forked Lightning
Beastmaster summons (supported by army, of course)
mass mercs (trolls, healers, ogres... don't laugh, it's been done)
huntresses... yes, even unarmored huntresses beat these guys because of their HP advantage, attack speed advantage, and bouncing attack. It results in an overall higher damage output:HP ratio.
and of course.. anything tier2 or higher.

mass ANYTHING is bad, archers are no exception. If you get lucky, you'll play against someone who can't micro for shit and you'll get to entangle/FF and just rape city, and some inexperienced people would run instantly after losing said hero. But for the most part, archers are only good for support, which it even says in the tooltip description for the unit.

Archers are not crap...its hard to micro hunts when the die to 1 volley of archers. Its hard to abuse FoK when you have healing scrolls and as soon as FoK you get FF by 20 archers and die. Archers are a good thing in Ne Vs Ne mirror. Lets see if I can dig up a replay...

archers are not crap but you need to quick tech try to get dott master asap if you can cyclone heroes then your archers can do damage, early game they die pretty fast so best to either creep and then hold out in your base :] Get Dh as your hero !

But what is u got a BAD ASS lvl 10 Dark Ranger and u silence their heroes, u can say gg to all those spells u listed SUCKAH!!! LOL

archers are pretty good once u hit a "critical number" mass. But u should get some meat for them, also scrolls of protect or heal as well to really make archers hard to kill.
