This beta closed for the play world of warcraft is really a scandal. The policy of blizzard concerning the selection of beta testers is really pitiful. Thus the faithful customers and fans of blizzard in general do not have any means of testing this play while the sucker admins of the " fan sites" received all a significant number of keys gracefully sent by the community manager. It is an attitude which could be compared with corruption since the selection was supposed random being, it is a lie. Moreover the naive which work gracefully with the promotion of the play via " fan sites" receive keys. Which poor reward with the sight of all their efforts dishonest. Indeed how they can claim being fan of a game which will be released only in several months. it is well of an obvious exercise of exchange of good processes. Blizzard gaining in the business the free promotion of their game by a bunch of site satellites. These operations are clearly the result of a very aggressive marketing policy on behalf of blizzard. For all the desapointed of this unequal and properly scandalous policy I propose the pure and simple boycot of this product published by a not very scrupulous company and corrupted by the money...

I'm sorry that you feel that way, but things were done the way there were done and to me it seems to have generated a lot of positive attention all across the country. You have to remember that not everybody gets into the closed beta. I would recommend trying the game in Open Beta when that happens since that will be a time for everybody to enjoy the game before it goes retail.

If you still stick to your original opinion and want to step out of the line to buy/play the game, I'm sorry that you feel blizz let you down, but I will guarantee there are several hundred thousand other people who are more than willing to take your place and will be buying it/playing it soon.

im probably misreading youre post, but from what i understand youre complaining about fan sites getting keys over common people? honestly having a fan site gets the keys makes more sense. sure, i'll bitch about it, but overall a fan site staff will have better feedback then some slacker teen that just wants a free game. also, blizz doesnt have to beta test. but they do it to make the end result of the game better.

i think you should deal with the fact that blizzard is a marketing company that needs to make a profit, but overall has made large steps in the past to make gameplay better for the customer. overall that's why blizzard has gotten so popular. while some issues like balance and the ladder for warcraft 3 might not have been dealt with easily, youve got to realize that in their shoes you'd probably not do a much better job. the simple fact that the last finished computer game that blizzard released was the frozen throne, and the last actual original game being RoC, and that theyre not just pumping out several games a year, shows me their still interested in quality.

well Blizzard send keyz to the admins of the site which promote their new game. nice corruption . i know hundreds of people which work on sites of fan of communities in d2 wc3 or sc/bw. these people will get nothing at last because they are not a potential promoter. the common of blizzard user dont get any chance to test it anyway . its really pathetic from a company like blizz. And concerning slymer i doubt that blizzard buyers and bn users will stand like morons when blizzard just manipulate them just for get more money each time and when the game will be release they will start a new campain on starcraft ghost or dunno what new shit. blizzard just dont care their fans ( real fans i mean not the suckers who grab keys with they free promote) and they will pay it if they continue their lames which are pissing off everyone.

...why would that matter? that's like saying you'll give keys for a strategy game to a FPS site just because the games are made by the same company.

I'm guessing that "Undeadarebitches" works for squaresoft and is trying to talk crap about WoW so FFXI doesn't get it's ass beat by WoW's release.... that's the only possible explanation I could come up with for this post.

Didn't you just accuse blizzard of giving keys to the people on the fan sites? This basically contradicts what you said in your first post. Second, it's a smart idea to give the keys to people who will talk about it and give info to others (website owners) as opposed to people who won't do anything but just play the game. Why would blizzard not want to get publicity for a game they made? Sorry man, but you have no idea of how a business works.

As for the beta promoting the game... well duh. If companies never promoted their products, many of them would go out of business. Besides that, blizzard is having the beta to find and fix bugs. If they didn't need or care about the beta, they could release the game right now and recieve profits immediately (as opposed to spending time to make their product better).

Now could you please tell us your real agenda, or do you still want to make an ass out of yourself?

shaqpack please be honnest. th truth that i said that only in the view of informing the community of blizzard manipulation. and i got NO POINT to do that else than what i said. contrary some people here its seems hehe. and second thing i prefer that a guy selected randomly give me his feedback on this game cuz i think it will be some honnest and realist feedback. just go read th earticles on this fan sites its pathetic they are sucking blizzard line after line there isnt any controversy neither critics. this is just misinformation for the public again. and i m not against marketing and publicity or other form of business But here its a form of cynical and pervers promotion with the help of beta keys as corruption. i dont think the feedback of the fan sites got any interest for real fans and communauty anyway ... and do you got any interest in blizzard for take their defense like that ? because u judge me having interest in square soft or anything that just stupid . my only interest is the community . i wanna just inform them what is the truth about this beta etc... i hope i succeded in this way.

I dont think they are being mean, i think they are being smart. Remember when signing up, the part that said "How many blizzard games do you own?" if you put alot or all, your chance of getting beta is greatly diminished, because you are a loyal fan and your probably going to buy the game if you do or do not get beta. If you put none or 1-2, you chances are heightened because your a potential customer they can lure into the game that probably wouldnt be that interested unless they got a taste of it first. So even though its unfair to the Loyal fans, its smart economically.

PS: The above is just a theory, based on people i know who got it have played only a few blizzard games while others who have lots of blizzard games got rejected.

Ya know what everybody, I think Undeadarebitches may be right. Blizzard shouldn't just give the beta keys to fan site owners, they should give them instead to random people on the internet that might not even play the game. I've been doing some soul searching, and heck, blizzard should actually pay people like Undeadarebitches to play the game. After all, he is doing hard work playing their game and giving back some amazing feedback.

It only makes sense, the internet is free (besides getting a provider), so WoW should be free too, since it's on the internet. Another thing, Undeadarebitches should be given a political position in the government. While I know the guy is too modest to take President, I think Chief of Justice would be right up his ally. That way he can help people that sue blizzard so they can win their cases.

Undeadarebitches, you are definitely the next Albert Einstein. What will you think of next? A solar-powered flashlight? Or maybe deploying Alliance and Night Elf troops in Iraq? The world is your oyester man.

the admins arent directly given the keys, they go to the sites. and admins are only present on forums. sites like penny arcade, where gabe and tycho recieved the keys, the two owners said they might give out some of the keys to visitors of the site as long as the users only used NE

shaq pack sorry to desapointed you but any people that signed up for the beta should play it else they should not have registered it so your point isnt right in my opinion. anyway admins corrupted dont got a realist and honnest opinion on the game and there feed backs arent honnest too considerating their keys have been send by special mails totally apart of the random selection. i dont think they got better skill for detect bugs etc ... this is just a crap. their only interest is to promote the game to the rest of community face it man everyone got manipulate ..

That's why I'm telling you that you need to take over the supreme court and in old school american justice, sue EVERYBODY. That way you can take over the world (from all the money you've won) and create an imperial army that can coerce blizzard into giving you a WoW beta key. Only you can stop the manipulation man.

good idea but i was planing to take over the international justice court cuz i got some reason to think that white house is involved in this manipulation so they could pressure the american justice in the case if bush win of course. else if kerry wins i can take over the supreme court yeah. else i was planing to create a milicia anti blizzard with muslims extremist in pakistan and to unload on us coast with a small comando group and take blizzard direction in hostage and to make them pay their manipulations but if geroge bush is reelected and he invades pakistan this will not be possible. even i always got the possibility of be leading a revolution in north korea and take power there then use the nuclear dissuation to force the blizzard direction to give me the powers of their company ...
