1) After careful research, I see that my computer is nowhere near the capacity to run WoW. It is a 3 year old eMachine model. Therefore in order to run it, I would have to build myself a new rig. (Which will take up the entirety of my Christmas fund.)
2) Running a 28.8k Dial-Up connection, I feel compelled to say that downloading the open beta will take longer than the open beta will actually last.
3) I do not have a credit card, nor does anyone in my immediate family.
4) Those who are not in my immediate family who do have credit cards have already told me they will not lend the use of their credit card to fund a monthly-paid video game.
Considering these facts, I have come to the conclusion that fate has bent me over and told me to bite the pillow.
