blizz posted about it on worldofwarcraft.com saying that its not real.

well we can assume theres going to be about a 30day open beta, so anything in the next 45 days is really unlikely.

They didn't say it's not real, they just sidestepped a real answer like normal ;)

We appreciate everyone's interest in determining when World of Warcraft will ship, but while we are rapidly approaching the open beta period and we are confident that we will meet our goal of shipping the game before the end of this year, nailing down an exact ship date is a little more complicated due to a number of factors. As soon as we have a specific date to announce, we will be excited to share the news with everyone. Please don't consider any announced release dates official until such an announcement comes from Blizzard. This is true for all announcements related to Blizzard games.

i doubt it will be a 30 day open beta, MAYBE 2 weeks. Open Beta is just to generate hype, they've already done the stress test part of it.

i hope they ll release English EU version ASAP, wait 3-4 months after NA release = stupid

I think that date is pretty logical. Actually I'm kind of tired right now of putting effort into characters that I know will be wiped soon.

Why would they have a 30-day open beta? After 30 days you got some people that get bored of it, they wouldn't want that would they? No, they want to make it like 1 1/2 - 2 weeks long so people are getting into it really nice then release the full version so everyone who played open beta is like OMG and goes and gets it right away.

If it does come out in december ill be happy cuz i can get it for x-mas instead of using my own money :naughty:
