Yeah that was (rumor maybe) something blizzard said according to some people that would be in retail. They may have changed it though, you never know.

But i think really its kind of silly to make each server all 1 faction account. Because if your like me i want to play a gnome/troll/orc/dwarf

same, i wanna get the most from the game :P, if i dun like alliance, i would like to play tauren or troll :)

The multi-factions on 1 server is allowed on beta, but won't be come retail. It won't be hard to change servers or anything - but it makes sense to not allow it because otherwise people would just drop their char and join whatever raid group is currently winning on the server and such.
