Can you use rockbite weapon with windfury totem and flury or wtf that increased atack speed talent is?? cuz i don't see it to work properly. It doesn't use the windfury totem corectly

Windfury (and flametongue) totem work by just recasting a 10 second duration windfury (or flametongue) enhancement every 5 seconds. Since you can't have windfury and rockbiter cast on your weapon at the same time, it doesn't work.

The way it works is you can have 1 temporary weapon buff and 1 permanent weapon buff. Since rockbiter and windfury are both temporary, you can't use them at the same time. You will quickly get used to this, and should also note that rogues can not use their poison with windfury totem up, as those are both temporary. You can however have the "icy chill" or "fiery weapon" weapon enhancements at the same time as any of the shaman weapon buffs (including the ones that do the exact same thing) and get both effects because that is permanent.

The talent is seperate and will work regardless. If you crit on the hit that gives you windfury, it will be pretty much wasted though, since your free hits count towards the 3 increased speed hits you get. Thats not to say that flurry is compleltely wasted when using windfury though, just generally a bit more efficient with rockbiter imo.

well i use rockbite with flury and that seems to work a lot better then windfury

It doesn't matter what the enhancement is with windfury, the totem overrides it because of its recast rate of every 5 seconds, so the only chance of you getting rockbiter weapon to work is to cast it during those 5 second intervals, and I personally totally love windfury, I just got it at 31 and it has saved my life so many times since then I can't complain a word

It makes no difference at all, you can't use two weapon buffs at once.
