Wool and Silk Cloth

Where is a good place to mine Wool and Silk? I'm a lvl 30 gnome mage, with enchanting and tailoring. Buying them from the AH is breaking me lol. Anyone know where the best drop rate is for both?

Just farm humanoids level 17 and up for wool, and 20-somethign and up for silk. Wherever there are a lot of humanoids clustered together is a good place to farm...

Silk cloth - Kolkars in 1k needles i found dropped a shitload of silk. Got around 60 an hour. With the super fast respawn rate and how many kolkars there are there it is so easy to farm it there.

How about mageweave? I've been getting a lot lately but I'm wondering if some places are better than others.

Silk cloth - Kolkars in 1k needles i found dropped a shitload of silk. Got around 60 an hour. With the super fast respawn rate and how many kolkars there are there it is so easy to farm it there.rofl, that's exactly where i suggested doc farm silk today

another good place is the satyrs in ashenvale

I just found another good place to farm it. Stranglethorn above grom ... )place where you get the necklaces from for a quest) they drop a good amount of silk.

The mobs are bloodscalp shamans,axe throwers, warriors. They were dropping around 1-2 silk per mob and they are fairly easy to kill and im a 35 mage.

do VC with 2 or 3 other high level people and u will get lots of wool
silk im not sure about

I got it now thanks. Not sure why wool sells for like 1.5 gold per stack on my server, and silk for 30 lol.

wool is worth more then silk on nerzghul atm =[ figures as i need wool for an ult and have tons of silk ><

Yeah, Silk sells for between 30-40 on Arthas. Silk is easier to get i guess, In SM i came out with 2 bags full of it.

So you can make a mount by selling 3 stacks of silk... excuse me while I faint.

I am assuming he means silver. Anyone would be crazy to pay for silk seeing as how it is so easy to farm.
