Warriors.

just wonderin a Warrior build, which can take lots of damage, but also quest easily. i only got this game on Friday (monday here atm). i tried out a warlock (lvl 9, alliance) but found it annoying as i died a lot. so i decided to try out a warrior. plz make it simple because im still a n00b. i will be a dwarf btw, not that it makes a difference. thanks guys

With a warrior you wont die alot, but it will take you 3 hours to kill a same lvl mob =P

I don't know much about builds. Depends on what you want to do. If you want to take alot of damage definatly use a shield and another weapon. If you want to deal massive amounts of damage, dual wield a weapon (which you'll get at lvl 20). Right now i dual wield two axes, it deals alot of damage and i have pretty good armor. B r I a N, what are you talking about it takes hours to kill a same lvl mob? I have no problem even with elite mobs my level. I kill them in roughly a few minutes. I even have a easy time with mobs a few levels higher than me. I'm alliance and im at redridge mountains and i can take on 2 of those elite orcs in the keep

I kill multiple mobs fast with a build that is primarily in the Arms tree.

Arms/Fury build is your best bet at the moment.

Protection is good if you're planning on running instances, but that's about it--you're terrible solo and without a DPSer to support you, you'll be bored with the game in days.

Arms/Fury allows for a lot of damage quick, plain and simple. It means that you deal damage faster, which allows for more aggro on you, more rage for you, and less damage taken seeing as the mobs die quicker.

If you think that being a rock would be exciting, go with protection. Otherwise, go Arms/Fury.

wow thanks, lol i think ill go arms/fury. my warior is lvl 7 at the moment coz i had a chance to play, and it is using a green oduble handed axe.. is a two handed weapon a good idea?

Two-handed weapons suck too much right now because of the miss %, you wont be noticing it until about level 15. It is beeing looked into though as is the rage system so it might change in the future. My UD Rogue when dual wielding 2 fast daggers was 15% CRITICAL STRIKE, 25% MISS and 60% normal attack :D

I think for PvP, your warrior should be focused on damage dealing. I used dual swords for that purpose and having good equipment helps a ton really.

Preparing yourself with as many buffs, well feds, sharpened weapons and potions is also a way to "cheat" on being a little underpowered. Also, especially for your tanking role in parties, make sure you get some sort of ranged weapon for pulling. Make sure, if you play with people you can ask stuff, that they buff you first and foremost. Being about 1.25 times as effective as normal is entirely possible with the right stuff and it helps tremendously when you're constantly taunting the creeps off your party members.

Make sure you are a dependable asset, so everyone likes having you in their party.

my warrior is now lvl 10, and ive decided to go herbalism, alchemy. this is a good mix for a warrior imo as i can make my own potions which helps a ton and i can get money off pople selling them potions, although not that much. im thinking about dual weilding axes as you guys say itll make me better, and even a shield sometimes(while im playing the role of a tank). im enjoying my warrior so much as i rarely die and can take heaps of damage. i also level really quickly. well im off to bed ill see ya later, and keep you posted on my warrior.

id take arms/fury but arms over fury
mortal strike, i heard, is a good spell to have
i love getting high crits too so get all 5 or 3 of the crit talents in the fury build
