The other one was locked a while so I figured now that I'm back I can make this thread.
This audio is Qazzi (Rival.Pooptime) vs DarkChrono (KoD-Noobelf). Chrono gets Dreadlord and Qazzi gets alchemist, both heroes get really high level and both players have expansions so I hope you enjoy it.
Comments/critisism welcome.

PS I know some of you hate rap but I just figured it would be a nice change.

Overall I liked your audio. A lot better than the one where you got bored and just let if fly by at 2 times speed. That wasn't too good (sorry ;))
Imo you could explain a little more, especially if there's nothing else you need to say. For example, when the dreadlord was creeping his gold mines he slept the oger mage and hit the trolls with his ghouls and then the 2 fat ogers. I'm pretty sure good players know why he does that (well, even mediocre players like myself know that) but if there's nothing else going you might as well explain that for the people that don't already know.
I guess it depends on what your target audience is. Judging from the questions people ask me from time to time there are still a couple people out there that are just starting to learn the game so your effort might not be wasted.

Yea I usually can't think of what to say at the moment, all of my audios but 1 have been done without notes. I try to go into perspective, I think that's why it's better when I do my games because I know what I'm thinking.

Yeah, I know doing an audio ain't easy. ;) You're probably right that it's easier to do them on your own games, that's what I plan for my first one, too. (though getting a decent game ain't easy either.) Anyway, maybe it'd be better if you watched the replay once before doing the audio so you can think up stuff to say in advance. Imo, you gotta have something that sets an audio apart from just watching the replay together with your audience, if you know what I mean. ;)

You'll need:
1. Microphone. Nothing spectacular.
2. Voice recording software. It can be pretty hard to get this FREE. Most voice recording software has limited recording time unless you're willing to fork out a hefty +$20 for it. Make sure that it records in mp3 format.
3. A replay! Ah the essential. It's hard to get a good replay. It all depends on what you wanna do an audio about.
4. Hosting. Unforunately, wcr doesn't host member replays (even though many of them are actually better that some staff replays). Google around or ask a member audio commentator for some help.

No, it's easy: Audacity is free and records MP3s:

Also easy, though I haven't tried that out:
http://www.rapidshare.de/
Claims to be 100% free, ad financed. Hosts up to 30 megs.

Hosting is the hardest thing of all those to find, luckily someone in my clan offered to do it for me for free. Usually you will have to use a free site that has ads and spyware, or pay for one.

Man, thanks for putting in the time, but it wasn't really that informative. I know it can be nerve racking doing one of these things, but ya gotta be a little more informative. But, yea, its cool you put in the time to actually do one of these. Im sure if you keep trying you'll get better at it.
