Right now i have a lv 32 Night Elf Hunter and some people told me that hunters are least wanted in raids and instances. What's a class that can do both in the late/end game (like lvls 40ish-60) besides a rogue?

Rogues are the least wanted for raids and instances from my own experience, hunters i believe are used in MC?

hunters are good in the raid content, they are low-maintenance dps that can keep control of their agro nicely. I admittedly didn't want them around pre-60, but they are fantastic for MC/Onyxia and presumably the new raid content.

Is MC an instance? also that's good, i didn't want to be a lvl 60 hunter that no one wants on raids and such

yeh MC is a raid instance for 40 people. Ideally about 8 of those 40 would be hunters imo.

I like having hunters when running places like UBRS and such since they rarely require healing, well, at least the good ones rarely do, if they suck then they die and have to learn how to play their class.

Hunters are pretty pointless for instances besides MC or Onyxia, where all they do is sit back and do damage. Hunters will be out-DPSed by a mage or Rogue, and their pets can't tank worth a damn. As a Druid, pretty fun to PvP (Killing a 60 hunter while I'm completely naked) :D.
Try magmadar without a hunter ;p
