just curious about them, have absoloutely no idea about the way to build there talents etc. and am curious for some general information on them.
What are there roles in instances (strat/schol/brs/mc/onox)?.
I am assuming the way talents are spent greatly impacts how they should be played, what type of build is best for levelling up quickly?.
1h/shield or a 2h weapon of some kind?

99% of paladins I meet in game plays like great gaping vaginas.
Solution: pick a different class.

I don't see how it could be possible that paladins arent the least fun class to play, thats just my take on it though.
paladins buffs are way better than shaman buffs (massive threat reduction owns, as does BoK), and cleanse in pve is far more useful than purge. Healing I'd say their role is a bit redundant. They offer slow, big heals but both priests and druids do it far better. It still needs to be done, but is more prone to overhealing (the mana conserve mods have a large margin of error for cancellation generally), if you use low ranks you are keeping yourself out of spirit time doing low hp/s.
So yeh, your group expects heals for a bit of a break for the priest(s), cleanse (to be spammed), and buffs (short duration, so they have to be reapplied frequently). Offtanking is possible but not ideal.
I don't have a whole lot of experience with it, and didn't even look at the talents because it wasn't my paladin that I played.

They are the least fun because they flat out blow in PvP, if you aren't an engineer you will NEVER kill anyone as a pally. Then again you don't really have to worry about dying ..
