What Program Do You Use to Record ACs?

Just wondering what program you guys use to record your stuff for these AC's. I was thinking about maybe trying my hand at this AC stuff to see if I have anything to contribute.

i use adobe audition and ar wizard. but i cant find my old crasck for ar wizard so adobe audition :( but adobe auditions hard as hell to use so if ne1 has a crack for ar wizard pm me :P

personally, audacity is really good, because A) its free B) its pretty good quality, but you can only save in WAV formats, but its still a really good program

Thanks guys. DL'd Audacity and an MP3 encoder that goes with it. I'll try to post an AC later today. Give it a listen and let me know what you think. :)

haha yea well i use vegasvideo cuz iuse it to edit movies and its the only thing that ihave that'll record like over 30 seconds but im sure u can also use windows voice recorder thing OR windows movie maker but just throwing somet things out ;) and yea u might wanna ask cecil

windows movie maker doesn't work, trust me, you start recording then you open the replay and it stops because it thinks you're not using it. also windows recorder thing stops at 1 minute then you have to start it again

Yeah, Audacity works really well. Good quality and easy to use. It's also free like the other guy said. So, if you're not totally happy with the other software you're using, give it a try. Just Google Audacity or go to sourceforge.net.

I use Goldwave to record it, because Audacity adds a ringing tone to mine for some reason =/. I edit and add music with Audacity.

You just download the MP3 LAME encoder and add it to Audacity to make it encode to MP3 and other formats.
