first off i want to say thanks to all the contributors to this forum, i just found this place and there's some really good stuff in here.
second i wanted to suggest that someone start keeping track of a comprehensive list of member audios, links to the thread or the direct link, organized by date. it would make it easier to check for new stuff since theres no way to sort by first post date (that i can find anyway). also im guessing there are some that fell off the forum, unless dan just tricked us by starting with audio # 11.
any volunteers to head this up?

No, you wouldn't be able to, since:
a) The Sticky thread would have to be closed or would be filled with useless spam.
b) After three days, only moderators would be able to edit the thread/post, since that's the way the forums are set up. Cannot edit posts after 3 days.
I don't have any problems with the idea itself. However, the fact remains that you will know which commentaries are new simply by looking at the first post of each thread. If the little box in the top left corner of the post is white (light), it's a new thread. If it's blue (no light), the thread is old. Personally, I feel the idea doesn't really do a whole lot other than encourage laziness. Because I do not feel it is overly difficult to click a thread to see if it is new or not. For that matter, I do it upwards of 250 times a day, so I am quite certain you can handle 5 or 6 thread clicks.
It is something I or other moderators may look into in the future (near future), but for right now, things can remain as is, for the sake of simplicity. I just don't see the need to implement this right now, especially since there's only a few new posts in this forum per day anyways.
However, please note I am not shutting down your idea completely, nor do I want you to think that is the case. It's just not necessary right now. Perhaps if the forum became more popular, with more commentators, then it would be more plausible.
