Thanks for the feedback on my first AC guys. Since many of you seemed to enjoy it, I've made another one. Once again, don't expect a gosu replay...rather, expect to hear me break down the mistakes that I and my opponent make so that you won't have to make the same mistakes in your games. Basic stuff, but hopefully there's something you can learn in here. As always, I appreciate any feedback you have for me.

Uhh, Id just like to point out a couple mistakes you made... I guess you already knew that. lol, good job, I think the most important lesson to learn from your AC is the value of watching your own replays and critiquing them and improving from them. As you state, you know better, but in the heat of battle, shit happens.

One of the ACrs said that the most important micro is hero spells and pulling units back. That is definitely a good place to start.

you have awesome audios man. whats state are you from? also it was a good audio how u pointed out mistakes and what you should have done etc etc. im gonna say 1 thing u could have done to help make ur game easier. when he has the warden fing up the scout farm you had 3 militia 1 footman over there. you could have easily surrounded him with the 3 pesents and forced a tp. 1 behind the warden and 2 on the sides then the farm and you could ahve killed her 100% or she would have tpd wich is alot better for you

Again, I liked this audio as well. And I laughed at the fact that people have a thing against your farms. Keep the audios coming, oh and keep working on improving your game. It just takes time and practice. Good audio, keep going. ;)

Hey guys, thanks for the comments. Drake, I'm from Virginia, just outside of Washington DC. Thanks to all for the game improvement tips. Of course, if I stop making bone-headed mistakes in my games, I'm not sure what my AC's will be about. :cool:

Maybe for my next AC I'll do a gosu game and try to break things down (like most of the front-page ACers do) instead of doing one of my own games. You guys let me know if you think that would be better or worse.

America, nice guess on the guitarist, but wrong. Anyone else care to venture a guess? He's a very obscure guitar genius that could play everything from rock, blues, jazz, rockabilly, country, bluegrass, etc. He is from Maryland/DC and committed suicide about 10 years ago. Enough clues. If anyone can get this right, I'll be VERY impressed.

America, thanks for asking my man. It shows that you care. :) I'm actually on vacation right now, but once I get back home I'm hoping to put one out pretty quick. I've got a couple of games that I think are interesting and would make for a decent AC (not MY games this time, games by top players). So, if anyone out there has any Human match-up that they'd like to see, let me know and if I have a good example of that match-up, I'll cover it. Nice to see the front page announcement bringing more love to the Member AC forum.

That was cool man, I like how you're able to look at the replay and point out what you're doing wrong. You can't improve it if you don't know what you're doing wrong right? Its cool because a newb can look at it and see similar mistakes to the ones they make and you point out what they should have done. I think its better for newbs to check this AC out rather than a gosu AC, because they arn't going to be able to pull off the high-level stuff they talk about in those.

I'm also pleased your favorite race is human as I play them too. Always good to watch a replay when the AC is by someone who plays the race and knows whats going on with them.

I look forward to your next AC but also to your next AC of one of your own replays, I want to see you not making the same mistakes and stuff. :D

BTW, you really do have a good voice for AC, better than most. You should try to make the audio files smaller so its quicker to download. If you dont have any software that lets you change the sample rate then I might be able to hook you up with one if you need.

Mordox: Thanks for the kind words and comments my man. Glad you liked the audio and thought my voice was good. Some of the comments you made were really cool because that's exactly what I set out to do with this (and my first) AC. I felt like often times, the AC's are kind of "too advanced" for many beginner players. Like, it's great to know about different strats, but some strats are going to be harder to pull off if you don't have gosu micro, etc. So, I thought, let's make some AC's that really just deal with some of the fundamentals of the game that everyone needs to get a handle on before they can move on to the more advanced stuff. I just figured that for every truly gosu player in these forums, there has got to be 100 novice players.

So, thanks for the comments once again. I was thinking about doing an AC between two "gosu" players for my next AC instead of doing one of my own games. This is mainly b/c I'm just not able to play very much these days and my skills haven't really gotten any better (and possibly worse) for the last couple of months. I wish I had more time to play and and improve, but that's just not where my life is at these days. So, I may try my hand at the gosu commentary next time around. Let me know what you think...I should be able to get one done by next week some time.

m_m_m35: Thanks for the feedback bro. I appreciate it. I'm on vacation right now and I can't remember if one of the replays I wanted to comment on was an Orc match-up or not. But unless you get out-voted or I just don't have a decent Orc replay, I will try to focus on that match-up next.

OK my Member AC Forum friends, I'm back from vacation and I've got a nice game to do my next commentary on. It isn't one of my own games (that will be great for some of you and a bummer for others) but it really is a very interesting game showing a non-cookie-cutter way for Human to beat UD. It features a solo MK and a very, well, different unit mix. I'll try to get the AC together tonight.

I know rapidshare is, err, less than ideal. However, I don't seem to have any other options at the moment. I PM'd Lotus to see if he would host my next AC, so hopefully he'll be able to and I can get it done tonight. Anyone know of any other file sharing sites that are (a) free and (b) better than rapidshare? I'd be happy to try something else out if Lotus can't host for me.

Weird man....I've never received an error like that. Well, the bad news is that my third audio is also on Rapidshare at the moment. But the good news is that I'll have it up on a non-rapidshare site very soon (hopefully today some time). I've heard a few others mention FileFront also....maybe I could try adding a FileFront link for my 2nd audio to see if that works for you. I'm heading out right now for the day, but maybe I can try that later tonight. I'll keep you posted man.

rapidshare only lets u dl a certain amount from them dailly..aka it sucks so i adviise you use filefront from now on, its like ultra easy and just convenient for everyone :)
