Engineering.

My priest is now lvl 33 soon to be 35 and soon as it hits 35 im am planning to go 225 to 300 instantly as i have shitloads of thor and dense stone etc...

Some general questions.

1. Goblin or gnome? Planning to use engineering for pvp.

2. What makes alot of $$$ if anything does in engineering goblin or gnome.

3. What is the main materials i am going to need so i can start farming them now.

I went gnomish, and I guess it's working out ok. The gnomish death ray is actually fairly good. Not positive EXACTLY what you'd be giving up in goblin though.

My personal highest is a 3750 crit with it. Friend of mine took the +30% damage berserking powerup in CTF the other day and crit for 9136 or some shit, it was unreal.

That said, there are a few items on my server I can make and sell for quite a bit, assuming no jackass put 15 of them for sale at the same time for 65s buyouts each.

Deadly blunderbuss I can usually fetch 2-3g, advanced target dummy another 3g, thorium widget 1-2.5g. Every now and then someone will be doing that 'that's asking a lot' quest I think it's called from LHC and they need all kinds of bombs and triggers and shit and you can charge way out the ass for it usually.

If I ever found or bought the thorium shells schematic I could probably re-sell those for quite a bunch....altho I'd end up just giving them to my hunter friends to trade for thorium-tipped arrows.

I hear alot of people say that Gnomish is the way to go for PvP. The Gnomish Death Ray does insane damage. I think it disregards level and armor on the opponent.

Do not go goblin, it is a gigantic waste at the current time. The only thing it has going for me is I've actually made a huge amount of use out of the free teleport to winterspring. I haven't made a bomb in ages, especially none that would require me to have goblin eng, they just aren't worth it. And anything else good about goblin is boe and usable by any engineer (xl cables).

I agree. Goblin engineer sucks, I'm at 240 and I haven't made anything in weeks...

Well I finally picked up Engineering on one of my alts, but I can't find where to get past 150 engineering. Can anyone help me out? (Horde if that matters.)

you can level well into the 200s in org. last night i went from 160 to 200 using bronze frameworks and iron grenades...i'm probably gonna buy a bunch of AH mats and get to the 260s soon and get the gnomish death ray. that thing owns so much. btw for eng above 225 you go to tanaris (gadgetzan).
