View Full Version : A Desired Change to the Audios Forum

Since Ameri(a and I were discussing this in my audio thread, I thought I'd throw it out here for everyone to comment on.

I discovered that the edit ban on posts prevented me from posting my newest audio at the very top of my thread, and was instead forced to place it randomly somewhere in the middle. I was curious as to whether anyone else would rather make an organized list at the top of their audio thread instead of continuing with the current system, and also if the mods would be willing to implement these changes.

Only the mods can help us here and it all really depends on how much time they're willing to spare.

But yeah, it's much better to have all your audios on top of the audio thread as opposed to posting in the middle...but hey, let's see if any mods aren't too busy. Isn't Phreak supposed to be a mod for this place as well?!

yeah, but lets see how lazy he really is... I don't even think he knows hes a mod of this place, I think he just has his name there

1) Sorry, I'm not making you a moderator of this forum, and that's the only way past the 3 day edit limit, so it's going to have to remain that way.

2) If you were actually talking to Ameri(a, he should have told you that he just PM's me when he wants a link updated, and I do it. But failing that, just reply to your own thread with the link to your newest audio, say something like "Please edit this into the first post", and it will be done as soon as I come online and see it.

I have no problems whatsoever with editing information into your original posts, but the edit rule is not something that can/will be changed, and I'm not going to make you all moderators, sorry. Just ask me and it's done. And no, Phreak doesn't view this forum much. At least not often enough to be of assistance here.

Thanks a lot Shadow, you're a great mod. If you're in my audio thread please do post those links up at the top with my first commentary. I'll be sure to PM you if I need more links moved. Once again, thank you.

Yeah, I already copy/pasted your latest audio into your first post, and America's #7 audio as well. It's not a big deal and only takes a few seconds. The edit limit thing is global, so it cannot be altered in just one forum, and it does have its purposes, so I trust that me editing it within a few hours of you posting should be sufficient. :)

I don't read them all, only what I need to read. And my computer's current faulty memory makes pages time out constantly, so until this weekend, you can consider that my "kryptonite", so to speak.

Anyways, it's really not a problem making simple edits for you all, and I don't need praise or anything. It's quite easy, and it keeps your threads in good order.
