Hey guys,
Here's my followup to my first AC.
http://s47.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1QBZNSKMS0NCB328I1QTMLATQH
I'm trying to get a bit more practical this time through, so this audio focuses on orc ground, which is a much more useful and common FFA strategy. As the title suggests, I try to focus on information gathering and positional considerations as well. Let me know what you think.

It is posted SMRT, I just modified my initial FFA's header. I didn't want to hog up space on that forum.

Nice audio, but I am wondering what is so scary about the forums. o_O

Nothing's scary about the lone forums, but when I post in the lone forums vs. posting here, it's for a different purpose. When I'm posting here, I'm expecting a solo/RT audience, and so the replays are appropriate. In order to join lone, you need to be ranked in FFA....and while that isn't an amazing difficult task, I have the optimistic hope that if you're ranked you're already familiar with the things I'm saying. So when I post it there, I'm expecting error corrections, things I didn't mention, etc. Keeping it to one thread seems more appropriate.

gives ben a cookie. GJ. ive been reading tons of the interviews lately lol. rice is the shit :D hell if i ever get on bnet again (been doing other stuff that restricts my gaming time a bit, will only last a few days dont worry :D) im probably going to FFA like so many of us. well maybe not :/. looks fun, but in the end its like RT and why i hate RT. its not really putting ur skills to the test and going 1v1 againced your opponent, theres many opponents, and in the end, u can probably mass one unit and win.
It's actually the best 1st audio I've heard. Real smooth, made me enjoy the replay.

Actually, this is his second replay, and personally... I think it's a little worse than your first. While yes, you did get better opponents, you had a rather boring strategy, and the "dreaded threeway" didn't really show up... at all. There wasn't really much mind games going on as in the first, which is probably why I liked the first so much.
Overall, a good audio, but slightly lacking. Keep it up.

Not exactly what I was talking about. :p:
I won't make you go to those scary wcreplays forums
See I read lone's forum just about everyday as well and that just happen to catch my eye. :)
I was just wondering why you were scared of these forums? Most of the lone members are members of this site as well and they have braved it many times. I personally like several members of lone like I[AM]SMRT, fly, pencil, wynter, lady, xx, ffa.smerbeck, etc. (too many to name :p: ) and a big fan of FFA so I only wish them the very best so I am not bitching about the comment, just wondering. ;)
Anyway good work and I hope to see more.
P.S. I also am very aware of what lone's recruitment policy is so no need to explain.

Well, there are three problems. First, I'm really concentrating on developing/learning human, so I don't feel I know enough yet to cover them. Second, DSoF has kind of degraded the overall quality of FFA replays. Third, I started these ACs with the intention of showing that FFA can be a skilled gametype, but with the recent DSoF push, I'm not sure that this is/will be true much longer. I don't really want to advocate a gametype which may soon devolve into 3 hour tower fights.

Aw, don't be so silly ^.^
What is DSoF?
It's a new FFA clan that sorta advocates private chat teaming.

They time out after a certain amount of time.
I have re-hosted one of them here:

I don't have the others on my HD anymore.

oh thanx i didnt know that.... and so for a NE player in a FFA game he must go chims hippos and possibly talons to succeed in a ffa game? ahh god damnit i dont like chims nor hippos, but vs ud mass garg, destroys n frosties and vs orc mass what ever and what ever the hell human does? is that all that can be done for a NE player? mass chims........ n hippo

If you have good micro, you can use MG (2-3), bears and mass dryads, but it doesn't work as well as chippo. Basically you're much less mobile and have less base-destruction abilities. It works, but not as well.
By the way, check out clan Lone's information about FFAs, they also have a nice NE FFA guide:
