Its short and nothing special but i was bored last night before I went to sleep so I wrote up something. But I hope its at least interesting for those who read it, and I am still going to write the rest of the story in small parts. But for the days from DAY1 to DAY4 its nothing but just running away from the scourge. And I will come up with a title and subtitles later probably when I finish teh story.
Day 5
We are on the move again, the Undead scourge have been on our trial for days. The villagers and my family are tired, but we cannot stop, we must keep going. No matter how hard we may try I do not know if we can outrun the scourge for much longer, I can feel them getting closer everys second as the cold choll running through my spine gets colder and stronger.
Rest, I need some rest and so do the villagers but I am in charge now, I am responsible for their safety and thats where I need to lead them to. But how and where is my problem, the lands ahead, are the already taken by the undead? I do not know, I need to know.
I am but a young Paladin, and do not have the strength and skill as my father did. What would he do if he was here? The land ahead, I must know if its safe for the villagers to pass. All day we have been walking without rest and have not had much sleep in the last two days and yet we cannot sleep for long for we must keep a safe distance from the undead that follows.
Nightfall is coming, I will scout the forest ahead to see if it safe, but I must prepare the villagers for some rest and some men to stay alert for any undead activity nearby. My mother and sister, the only family I got left, I have left them in charge to look over whom ever is sick while I left to scout.
Just before I entered the forest, I looked back and can see the camp from here just to see if everything was ok. There isn't much light for me to see with besides the light from the moon, which is enough to see where I am stepping. These woods seem so old, I remember when my father brought me hunting and to camp. The forest was named Plentiful for many animals walked through here for many years till a coupple of yers ago many hunters from far lands came and killed almost everything for sport.
Daylight would have been better for then I would know how far I am into the forest. However, I am being careful for I do not want to get lost. Don't know where I am but now I feel the presence of someone or something hiding behind a tree or a bush. I turned around and as I did I saw a pair of eyes, now I knew that I have been being watched and followed by someone, but by whom I have never seen such eyes. Then I started walking back thinking It was not safe to be there but then I heard screams, terrible screams and as soon as I heard them I start racing back to the camp fearing the worst for my people and my family. As I was running I glimpsed to my side and those eyes where following me and getting closer and closer but I still ran forward and kept my face forward for all I cared for was to get back to the camp to help the villagers.
The eyes now where running right beside me and I looked as I was still running, I can see that it is some kind of animal or walking creature that I have never seen before and then because I was not looking where I was going in just a second everything went black...
