I can only say that I read this on the sk-gaming forums. Apparently Zacard played 1 map for Romeo (and it seems the evidence was so overwhelming it cannot be refuted), and both players are now banned from the rest of the summer session.

Cup Site seems to be down.

Statement from [64AMD]ownitsch (Headadmin):

After a lot of rumors and discussions yesterday, inCup Admins used the time until now for further investigations and we finally came to the result that SK.Zacard, who is a good friend of mouz.Romeo, played his third half-final game on Treasure Island. Due to all obvious facts we decided to set a second, clear signal after the kick of Sujin against cheating, acc-sharing and all other kinds of abuse during inCup tournaments and announce officially that both players will be banned from the current Summer Season.

InCup's aim is to provide fair and equal conditions for every player and any actions against the tournaments rules will be jugded with all necessary consequences, no matter about famous names or clantags. Finally I want to say thank you to everyone who helped to prove the supposition such as the inWarcraft Replaystaff and especially g-FM.Feanor. Additionally I have to say sorry to all players who suffered under the actions of those two players, especially HeroGhoul.

I watched the first game between Zacard and Susiria from the WC3L, and I have a sneaking suspicion that he got his little sister, or maybe his mother, or maybe some random person from the street that has never played WC3 before to play for him, because it was embarassingly bad from a player that a few months ago was considered by some to be the best player in the world.

i bet they did it for fun or somethin. seriously why teh fck would romeo need help beating mr. heroghoul? i saw that game and tho the apm and playstyle is unmistakebly zacard, heroghoul sucked major azz.

imo it's not even cheating. more like f'in around. maybe if it was like romeo vs didi8 and romeo was weak vs night elf whereas zac owns elf, it would be cheating.

never expected someone like zad would do this, but he deserves a ban then unless romeo's grandma died or something.

even though zacard/romeo are wrong for cheating, wait for their personal explanations before assuming too much.

I'm sure they wouldn't do it unless it was absolutely necessary.

even though zacard/romeo are wrong for cheating, wait for their personal explanations before assuming too much.

If it was intentional, there is no explanation needed.

I'm sure they wouldn't do it unless it was absolutely necessary.

How would it be necessary?

Yea, if there was an emergency, he should have backed out of the tournament.. There is no excuse for cheating, not even if it was against a bad player, especially when there is prize money involved. And, when seeing all of the cheating in wc3l, you would think they knew better..

No excuse. Back out or play.
