You cans ee top pvp guilds of your server and other cool info.

Top player of all servers is an alliance hunter form my server =[ pity it rewards amount of playtime rather then skill level.

If you join raid in av it would not be that hard to get 100k hk's tbh. I mean you can easily get 1000+ if you do that.

heh yea it is. you probably don't know the climate on warsong but basically he's about 10,000 HKs above the next player...and please don't tell me 100K HKs is easy to get because NOBODY on any server that i've seen can come close to touching that. the climate on each server for PvP is different, and on warsong 100K is ALOT. that's alot for any realm, really. btw on warsong only the long AVs get 1000 HKs, usually its more like half that or a bit more if you're in it for the 2-3 hours it would take.

To be fair, Moskau did get a head start in the HK department, before this terrible, terrible BG was out. BG has ruined PVP rankings :(

Basically if i get into av with my guild join raid i can jsut set af and come back in an hour or so and have like 500-1000hk's it really is not all that impressive, the fact he is not rank 14 with that many hk's basically tells me that he joins the randoms in a raid and that is why he has so many hk's. Hk's mean nothing, unless he had shitloads of cp ...

The reason most of the top pvp players don't get close to 100k hk's is because they probably do not jooin the raid. In av i join the hadful of people from my guild who got in.

yea...he also gets a head start because he happens to be in the best guild on our server...lol. btw i wanted to tell you that i acted sorta rash last night...i might or might not be quitting -.- but if i made an alt it would be a rogue on warsong. but im thinking about it a bit, and yes i do question myself after most decisions i make.

edit: blynx, pick up AVs on my server are nothing. its always 40 v 11, horde being 11. he's doing all arranged AVs or he's getting in all the best pickups (which horde usually loses anyway). he's clearing doing AV though, but i don't know how exactly he's getting all his HKs.

2nd on my server, soon to be rank 13.

We do WSG only, and to get in with our group you have to be good.

To say its only time invested is false. There are people who play more then me that dont even compare to my CP. Whats the difference? Oh yea, skill.

It's not exclusively time spent, but don't tell me if you played an hour of the day you'd still be 2nd. Obviously there's skill in it to an extent, but someone who plays 20 hours a day has a tremendous advantage over someone who plays 3 hours a day.

You can get better groups then someone who plays more the you, it has nothing to do with your 'skill', the best pvp'r on the server could be a first seargant or some shit but just not have the time to play. Someone who works or goes to school full time is not going to be able to match it with people who can play in bg's over 10 hours a day, that is what i am saying.

I am in a pvp guild so i rarely lose in bg's, if i do 1 av then wsg for the rest of the day i can hit 60k a day, i just don't really have much fun doing that and av just bores the shit out of me with its 2+hour queues. It is not because i got the skills it is because im grouped with 9 guild members and we are in vent and can communicate so no pug group has any real hope and we usually end up shuttling the flag for 7min wins.

You can still be good and rank high but imho:

Time invested>skill for pvp rankings.

#7 on my server has a full time job, a wife, a kid, and he still can get top 10. Playing 6 hours a day we are able to get 35-50k CP a day. There are people that play 10 hours a day that dont get that.

Im not really posting this as you per say but a lot of people(blizz forums) seem to think that the top % of people play this 10-12 hours a day.

I believe its just a way for people who arent very good to justify why they arent at a higher rank.

There is always expetion to the average but tbh the bulk of top players on 'my' server all play alot. usually there is a top 3 which get around 300k a week(horde) then alot of others who get around 200-250k and that is to around standing 30, alliance on our server standing 1 requires only 200kcp heh.

we just got a high warlord on warsong...2nd one actually...his guild was doing alot of belinda rushes and /afk though. wicked high warlords swords though, i bet he could beat any one person now, aside from the other warriors who have as many epics as him.

edit: after checking the rankings we now have 2 simultaneous high warlords...not very unexpected as the two were always in the lead lol. so i believe that makes a total of 3 all time high warlords...but i can't get into a pub AV in under 30 minutes with balanced teams? >< come on blizz.

I can say with all honesty that I believe the top ten on my server play at least 10 hours a day. I do not doubt that they have had sessions considerably longer even.

The top two on alliance share their account around with multiple people. afaik the horde top players do not (I was guilded with them for a long time and they were always up for TS/Vent coordination).

Someone with exceptional skill (truly AMAZING) will not get nearly the same cp if they only (ONLY!) play 5 hours a day.

Id say the Honor margin between the top player in AV and the leecher is about 2-15k depending on wether you get to face the same players in new AV or different ones and on AV duration. Now this means you get about a 5th to a little above twice as much as a leacher now, even the worst player easily gets 30% of that simply by joining any small raid group going on.

So yes time is almost everything rank1 on my server requires about 450k cp for horde and about 240k for alliance since alliance doesn't win AVs. So for them it is more about whos good aswell.
