Prof to earn money

I'm starting with WoW again after a very long time; and I never realy experienced Professions, So I don't know what all execly do and for some reason the WoW site isn't that quickly here =/

But my friends take the profession; but I'm not willing to take non this time.
But since all profs. for good equipment and stuff are already in use; I'm wondering what the best proffessions are to make a lot of money with so we also have a nice amouth of gold in the game :)

Any advise (Level 10 priest currently)

take skinning and mining or skinning and herbalism
i took that till 30 and had about 30g
professions dont really earn you money like you would think
since your a priest, you could do tailoring/enchanting and just tailor stuff witht he cloth you find and disenchant it to build up your enchanting
Enchanting doesnt earn real money till about 250 + with all of the weapon enchants

i have skining/mining on my mage alt, and i had more than 100 gold by level 32-ish

just stay away from buying too much in the AH and sell all ur goods and u should be set

Skinning Mining here. Had 100g when i hit level 40, so i had my mount at start.
I am now level 47 and have 170g now.

Allright, I've chosen for Skinning and Mining;
But they don't seem to earn my anything at their currents skills (around 20).

20 Items of mining are worth like 50 coper or so, But I guess I'll get better stuff later

20 Copper Bars are worth 50 COPPER? rofl I sell for average 75silver every time.

I do not have Copper BARS; I currently have
40 Copper Ore and 40 Rough Stones; but they are hardly worth anything

I also have skinning, but since thottbot doesn't give a lot of information about that; I don't know how to make money out of that.

You don't sell them to the vendor. You put them up on the auction house at a competitive price and sell to players.

but what is an reasonable price for what kind of ores?
I can't compare it to others because the AH of the Orcish Capital has currently no other ores

You can smelt them into bars and sell the bars. See what other bars are selling for by searching for "copper bar". On most servers 20 copper bars sell for 40-70s. The younger the server, the less inflated the price.

I've found the only kind that sells better as ores are gold and silver, which I sell in small ore batches of 2-3 ores. People buy them to raise their mining skill by smelting them.
