Very entertaining and informative audio sysshark. I liked your audaciousness in releaseing the recent pudge dota replays. It was well edited and they were nice hooks. Takes a lot of practice to hook well. I have a few moving blind hooks, and a few clips of other dota replays, leave me a note if you need reference or something.



Side note: What program did u use to edit the vidoe/making it compact instead of 200MB frap vid.

I used fraps to record the scenes in the replays then I combined them all with windows movie maker - also used movie maker to make the video effects and twist in the audio clips/music.

I'm not sure if I'm supposed to comment on you audio commentaries here, but I just listened to your audio commentary on the Orc Mirror and I really enjoyed it.

I learned a lot from that audio. I've been playing this game since it came out but not constantly off and on and I get pretty bored honestly so I'm always looking for new things instead of going for the typical expected strategies and what not. I mean I suck and don't really know anything for how long I've been playing and it's always nice to learn new stuff.

I liked the comment you made on the chain lightning about how it's more of a spell to get the last shot in to kill a unit, and how the extra hits is more of a bonus. I think that broadend my perspective on that.

I also checked out DiabloGods newest audio and that he did a really good job.

Anyways I really enjoyed your commentary I'm looking forward to the next audio / replay!

Hey Mr.Shark, I have been listening to audios for awhile now. I will make the assumption that you know who nc.dude is (if not, you can figure it out), My friend Hells-Harrier23 has been working with bats and has gotten some chances to even talk to nc.dude about what he thinks during games. Bats in solo is a real joy, but lately bats in 2s has been a treat. We are struggling to find people are level who can really counter us. For example, tower rushers are easily fended off by a rax placed in back of base. Siege w/o towers is fought with solo bm and pots. Bats love to get cuddly with their air. Ground is owned by a high lvl bm. The keys to the strat is letting the bm tank the base defenses and then liquid fire does the rest. I was just kinda wondering your input. We are clan bow on us.east (I am almost 22, he is 25(not really spring chicks)). I have many many replays including us beating high lvl ladder players. At this point I have only really struggled even remotely with players who start the game trying fast necro wagon. If you have any ideas about this, I would love to hear. Wagons+cripple+shade means I really struggle. Thankyou for your time

I'm an ex-goodish-starcraft player and I have okay micro compared to my terrible macro which always let me down, also I liked protoss in starcraft because you didn't really have to harass with them like you do with zerg.
So in short is there a race which requires little macro helps to have good micro and you aim to build big army's and smash people not harass?

Give me 5 is pretty cool. Even though I keep up with the WC3 scene, it still is nice to hear everything gone over.

Also, while I've always liked your audios, it seems to me you're far better on Orc audios, as while I respect you as a player, I don't think you have as much insight for NE or UD, although you do seem to know quite a bit about Human. Sorry, that probably sounded a bit harsh, it's just I think you should stick more to your strengths. The MyM]Focus and Dott commentary was pretty good though, I learnt a bit, even being a Nelf player.

I think you should do some more audios on Orc vs Elf, as it's a matchup that is pretty interesting, and more Nelfs seem to have trouble with Orc than people think, as well as Orc wanting help with the matchup. You could go over some elf strats like Four Unit (Well it's really Three Unit...) and Dryad Bear, and how Orc can counter them, as well as some Orc strats like mass Raiders, Bat tech, etc.

Just suggestions anyway.

The reason SySShark's member name isn't System Shark is because when he was registering he was limited to a certain amount of characters. Whatever that amount was, System Shark exceeded that. Now that he created his staff profile he isn't force to use that abbreviation when he can use his true, meaningful name deep down in his heart. My job as a weatherman resides on how accurate my assumption is.
