I joined clan DSD after my clan disbanded due to several reasons... no more players, etc. I've been friends with that clan ever since the game's release, since I always met them on ladder EVERY NIGHT when they were still mostly in clan GD. I met most of them when I went to Singapore during WCG :]

As long as the room is well-insulated and you aren't just smashing the drums/cymbals as hard as you can, it wouldn't disturb any neighbours unless the house next to you is like two feet away or something.

And decent drums aren't that expensive. You just want quality over cheap prices.

You should pursue it. Make time and make space. You'll be glad you did, I think.

It's about the same or a bit cheaper. Starter Pearl Sets would probably go for 700-800 :D

In my experience, Yamaha drums have a better quality and tonal sound to them than Pearl (though both are good) and are usually slightly cheaper as well.

C'mon now, you have a sweet job, you can afford the drums. You just have to have the desire to go off buying them, which you don't have yet.

Sort of related, I'm surprised how many things you have there that are exactly the same as things in North America. I didn't realise things were so similar, at least in terms of TV, appliances, recreation, etc. Only time I hear anything about The Phillipines is when Gloria Arroyo (I believe that is spelled right) pisses off the public.

Yes, my job is sweet, but it hardly pays enough to let me buy a decent drumset. :] I was saving up for it a couple of years ago, but... ;] I need to buy a new PC soon, which will be roughly around the same price of the starter set. I get paid really little when you convert it to US/EU terms. I live in a third world country, my friend. Hoho~

People have that perception of our country. I don't blame them. People used to ask me how I can play Warcraft since they thought our houses was suspended by sticks over water. Rofl. I mean, like my home has cable + TV in almost every room; each sibling has his/her own car; etc. The thing that makes it totally third world is the big gap between the poor/doing ok. Maids here get paid like 60USD a month. A MONTH.

My pay is pretty comfortable, taking into consideration that I get to work from home. But even if I didn't, my pay is still better than my other friends who are working in tech/IT magazines. But not that good to get a drumset. I'd prolly need to save up for it like 5-6 months, if I'm frugal enough and not spend so much on shopping. :D

A friend of mine took this class in japanese. The teacher was japanese, having moved to Sweden for studying. She had a quite dark voice when talking in swedish, but she told my friend that she slid back into talking with a really light voice when talking to her friends in Japan.

Camera zooms out with a pan shot from left to right. Cygnus stands waiting for a kiss and Jackie waits to find out who JacZie will kiss. After the battle between Kage and Shadow has subsided, kage exits stage left, shadow exits stage right. Jackie and Cygnus stand alone center stage. JacZie is oblivious to the fighting down below in her thread. To finish of the scene, Jackie quotes Shadow for irony and returns for a beautiful literate technique with a "full circle" wtf, etc.

Edit: I don't know about JacziE, but I like europeans without chest hair. Sure a guy can have chest hair, but it has to look nice, not like an apeman. Shoulder hair, and back hair is a huge turnoff for me. It's the same with guys, wouldn't you prefer your girl to have a smooth chest instead of hairy one?

Actually since a lot of the pretty males were posting are incredibly good looking, the put themselves in jobs where they know they will be extremely macho. Beckham with soccer and marrying a hot spice girl, super models, although they take to the runway, spend time to go clubbing, work out to be perfectly in shape for that model shoot, or make sure they have physical hobbies, like football, or surfing. ;) Sorry, girls don't go for sissies.
