Herbalism/Enchanting?

So, I'm gonna make a human rogue over the holidays to play with my RL friend and his friend (30-something pala and 56 warrior) and I'm wondering if enchanting still nets good money. I would be selling the herbs (keeping some swiftthistle and blindweed ofc :D) and trying to level enchanting/selling enchanting mats. Will I be able to hit 90 gold by lev 40 without spending 5 levels in SM, or should I go regular herbalism/skinning.

the only time enchanting makes good money is when it's a new server and you are able to stay ahead of the pack in getting the best enchants as you level.

however, if you want to speed-level, disenchanting is a great way to keep your bags from getting full and make good money selling dusts and essences.

Yeah I only have a month to 60 :p: so speedleveling it is!
