Roshan/Axe abuse

Is this new? Never heard of it before but saw it yesterday tried it out and now I am imba with axe can get 800 gold and 5 levels within 5 mins of game start. Kind of ridiculous.

I heard of Techies massing mines and killing Roshan (lol), but never heard of using Axe to get Roshan kill in 5mins.

i just tried going Roshan with a lvl 7 axe, i just used the lvl 4 berserker call on him, and he followed me all the way to my fountain ! lawl, of course you gonna have to use it while he's chasing you, just use it and run, use it again when its ready, and this way you can drag him to your fountain which is gonna start hitting on him, BUT sad news is, he's gonna start running back to his spawn place once he get to half of his hp... so i think maybe this trick need atleast 3 heroes to block him inside the fountain area, or to kill him while he's running or something.

yeah, i was thinking of berserkers call to, altough, i dont think that is possible within 5 minutes. especially not if your going to need lvl 4 berserker call.

Reminds me of people pulling this super raid boss into a very populated human city and killing everyone

and the Keeper of the Groove that used to be able to entangle red creeps and pull them into the opponent's base right at the start of the game.

dont even have to do this if your micro is good enough you can just run around the taverns and let teh fountain do its work and you only need to use berserker call once ( just after his lair) and he follows you the whole way. noob roshan

Try it all you want but don't get used to it in public games, it's an exploit that every noob and their grandmother is going to use at every opportunity. Be one of the good guys... say no to Roshan abuse.

Lucky someone pointed it out on these forums, because every post about it on the dota forums gets deleted as soon as the mods see it. ^^

Anyways, if you don't mind dying once, you won't need any help.
Dying to Roshan doesn't add to your death count anyways does it?

It's also just much easier to pull off in general.
Just lead him up into the tavern area, and die.
Then when you block him in, he won't murder you.

Played some gams with the clan last night and a guy tried to do this trick well into the 15+ minute mark and eventually bitched at our techies for hitting Roshan and quit. I wouldn't mind so much if people actually were able to do it... but the fact that they get all upset not being able to do an easy exploit and quit is just annoying.

Nah, it's more than possible. Just figure out what to do and you can do it every time 100%.

They could if the game was AllPick (-ap), but otherwise, I don't think so.

It's probably doable but you know it's a much easier path for Mr. Rosh up towards the scourge side, and all early replays of the event showed it from such a point of view. So if someone decides they want to be a dork, there's not much reason not to do it from that side.

with sentinel go through mid lane, is impossible via bottom lane (well i cant do it) and be really careful about the other creeps which have on occasion run around the trees to get me for some reason. fucking berserkers.

Not true, once you pull him out of his cave are, he will follow u till you die or run into creeps. Thats why you dont pull rashan untill the 1:52 sec mark if your scourge .

roshan's -ms is 285-290 i believe. Try running with a 340 -ms axe and keep running in a straight line. When you reach the tower beside ur rax he will eventually turn back because you will not be visible to him anymore.

I had a guy who tried this with level 2. He was able to get roshan to the fountain, but rosahn just went half Hp and then he ran back and regenerated HP in 1 sec. Then axe just left T_T

That is basically what this exploit was. That was my first and only attempt, and as you can see it is extremely easy to do.
