I was jw who is hte best hero in dota... there are so many to choose from.

Edit: Dragon Knight :D pwnage fire. I like AoE. There was once this red hp sniper that's trying to run away by walking around the woods in the top lane and realizing I cant hit him with my melee, I just pressed "F" and clicked the wood and he's dead

i think u can own with every hero in the game except perhaps the new witch doctor...ofc there are heroes that every noob can handle like spirit breaker, clinkz, venge, sniper, na and rikki... but where's the challenge?

imo the rarely used heroes are the best cuz they really make fun to play, are pro heroes and not everyone can handle them ;) :

- lion
- nerubian weaver

Gondar - Bounty Hunter! He's a verry good overall hero (winwalker, good nuker, agi hero, high speed, high base dmg, and GREAT HERO KILLER...). Though he is not considered a noob hero and is rarely used. I made the highest score with him (36-2 lol).

There are way too many factors for there to be an all around best hero. Certain situations call for certain heros. KOTL is picked in almost every inhouse game I play though.

There are no "best" hero. There are fun heroes though:

Pudge
Necrolyte
Rhasta
Keeper
etc.

I also love playing certain str'ers with hex, such as stonehoof, omni, DK... and try gondar with Vyse, you won't be dissapointed.

Yeah there is really no "best hero" in my opinion either. But here what I think:

Best single hero (If they had to fight 1 on 1 with no running etc): N'aix

Best team hero: Rhasta

There are so many good heros. Spiritbreaker is very good, and a very good allroundhero. Charges over the whole map, imba ulti with no cooldown, hes faster and hes got a nice bash. o_O Naix imba in lategame, so much lifesteal, movement and slow und spell immunity. Luna kills every hero 1on1 if there are no creeps near by. Jugger, too o_OStealth Assasin is invisbile all the time and does so much dmg from behind. I had 24:0 with him once, that was the best record i ever had. Naga Siren is so imba, too. Mass illu mass crit ensnare....

My favorite hero is the Spirit Breaker, I dont DoTa much, but when i do i usually play as him. The fact that his ulti @ level 16 does 400 spell dmg, 100 phys dmg, and stuns for 2.2 which is another 2 hits, so 200 more dmg. And the also has that charge attack which stuns for 2.5 i think. With all that + SnY you can get a really good hero killer.

Necrolyte is usually one of two things, sucks or descent in 1vs1 situations. unless the other hero took alot of damage before the 1vs1 situation occured, then its rape time.

Necrolyte can be beaten by every type of hero, intel, agil, strenth. Also to counter necrolyte in 1vs1 is really easy. Just get a aegis or manta style. Even a linkens can be enough to counter. Bad items to use to counter necrolyte would be items such as point pooster, getting more hp helps, but it also comes at a sacrifice vs a necrolyte, since he does more damage on his ulit with more hp missing.

Necrolyte is probably the best hero finisher. Just get a upgraded dagon. Once ur team bangs on a hero to half health, just dagon then ulti.

SA in public games by far. If they dont pressure u early itll be gg. Perm Invis, Backstab, SILENCE, AND BLINKSTRIKE. They need to nearf him cause on the lower lvls its too good.

chaos knight, sven, rashta are some of the best heroes imo, since they are useful throughout the game and have multiple advantages, such as nuking, high damage output, backdooring, tanking (for the 2 knights) and mass-disabling for rashta.

If I had to pick the best hero in a wide variety of situations I would probably go with Pugna. Nether Ward is an absolutely amazing skill, and his high speed/damage is very fun to use. Decrep is borderline garbage but definitely worth a single point at around level 9-10, maybe sooner if you are against anti mage or lycanthrope.

Of course Pugna is just my opinion. He is my favorite hero, you will see most people suggesting their favorite heros. Bane Elemental is pretty awesome as well, especially now that they fixed brain sap.

Agreed on all counts. I discovered a nifty fact about Bane yesterday, too. You can brain sap your teammates to deny kills, which is just freaking awesome (or lame if you abuse it I suppose.)

i dont think its the best thing he can do. U can deny kill with every1 just come and kill him (did it with my silithern guard and killed ogrey with doom, doom guard was really suprised :P)

best think on him is sleep (reduce number of enemies u face) and his ulti roxx (u are moveless, silenced and recieve dmg)+1hero = sure kill (and he cant escape coz u will sleep him after ulti xD)

Ursa Warrior, 5 hits dead, if not keep running, then blink, enrage, overpower, 5 more hits, and they are definantly dead.

Ursa is countered hardcore by Eul's and Diffusal Blade / Medusa. Both cyclone and purge remove both overpower and enrage, which makes him a worthless hero in nearly every situation. He's still good if people are not smart enough to couner him correctly or you get a lothars. Even then they can do the aforementioned counters combined with a gem, necronomicon lvl 3 or sentry wards. Still a fun ass hero to play though :).
