I just thought we would have a thread for people to discuss what imbalances they think exist in dota. Whether it may be hero imbalances or item imbalances.

I must say that the stealth assasin is just too strong. Perma invisibility is just imba imo. Also when you try to shackle him or use bane's ulti on him he also becomes invisible while the spell is ongoing. Only way to counter is too dminish his early game, which is easier said then done. Omniknight's slow aura is also too strong. I do not know what %of -ms they reduce, but they need to reduce it abit at each level. Techies should be removed i believe because he messes up games by making them extremely longer. On a side note he is hella of a lot fun to play with. I also believe they should make dagger of escape not available to the Earthshaker.

I got no problem whatsoever with SA, altough i agree that he becoming invisible with spells ongoing might need a fix. I think (not 100% sure) that OmniKnights aura is -28%, wich is quite hefty indeed and could need a nerf. When it comes to Techies, well Techies is no problem, they cant battle you, and a simple stone counters them fully. There is no reason Earthshaker should not be able to buy Kelen's Dagger of Escape.

Bristleback is one of my favorite heros and his ultimate makes up for his other skills.

here's my opinion on "Bristleback", i think his skills are really fine, his first slow skill cooldown is 2-3 seconds AND it stacks each time you use it on a hero, means that if you cast it on a hero for the first time he's gonna get like 15% slow movement, and if you used it again on that hero, its gonna slow him even more to like 30% etc 3-4 times, now with his second skill he can farm and chase really well early games, the 3rd skill is just GREAT, it reduces ANY kind of damage he receives on his back by 60% (not sure) even magic damaging spells ! and it reduces the damage taken from all directions by 15%, now thats a very usefull skill on a str hero imo, and his ultimate is what makes him shine strong late games, the chances of it turning on gets pretty high at lvl 16, giving him huge attack/movment speed bonuses.

now about WHAT sucks about this hero, its basically his stats gain, this hero have the lowest stats point gains in Dota, which i can't really get why, so you definitely should get some str items to cover that up, in this hero's situation i would suggest a "satanic" which will work more than great with his ultimate.

there is only one imbalance in DOTA he is called niax. this is not a whinge or flame. niax is imba, period. level 25 vs anyother hero he will win regardless (obviously items etc being similar). somehow he even gets away againt permabash heros its just ridiculous.

WTF are u talking about? the gou crap is the gayest spell in the game. Yea complain about aura -28% but this goo shit -more and - armor combined with ulti its so fucking wrong

Naix is countered pretty nicely by Necronomicon if you can burn his mana away ahead of time so you can wear him down with spells. Doom also owns him completely since it shuts off Leech and his other passives.

Naix isn't the best 1v1 hero at all. Troll, PA, Terrorblade, and Sven can win a 1v1 against naix late game.
Anyway, what balances naix is hes sucky early game, he's the hero with the worst early game imo. Just make sure you harass him eneough so he can't get huge and problem solved, there's nothing he can do to avoid it (besides side creeping, so you have to check the neutral creeps sometimes)

Well, the way I see it, in the right hands a lot of heroes will see imbalanced if you're pubbing. In pubs SA can easily come off as imba, and he could probably use a slight nerf, but nothing major. Razor can come off imba in the right hands...in reality in the right hands most heroes can come off as imbalanced. It really depends on the person who is using it, the items and item build and the level difference.

i hate it when noobs feed clinkz and clinkz shows up at lvl 25 when everyone else is still lvl 20 and sports his shiny butterfly/buriza/satanic
