Member Article Section?

I dont know if we can, but it would be pretty neat to be able to put our articles up somewhere (Not member writings..)

Of course, there would be a moderator to delete any spam [Like everywhere on this site :p:]

I think it would be really cool, post our insight about gaming, our strategies, and a easier database then the strategy section. It would really attract if it gave post points (comon you know it would:))

You can post those kind of things in the Misc. forums. There may not be a database for it, but maybe if people actually posted some godo stuff in the Misc. forum it might start being viewed a bit more.

Try it out, maybe if it's good enough you might get some kind of special link or something :happy:

If people have articles they feel are good, they can send them to me or to submit@wcreplays.com. I will then go through them, and if they are good enough, I will edit and post on the front page, just like a regular article.

Yes, I will go through everything that is submitted to me or to that address.

There are several forums that work just fine for posting random material. You can use member chat or the miscellaneous forum, or member writing for that matter. And like I said, if people put enough time and effort into writing a good article, then I am sure it will be good enough to be put on the front page.

For other material, or for people just writing random stuff, I feel the forums should be just fine. Remember, a database for members would also have to be moderated or edited, as we cannot have people post just anything in the pages that we have an editorial responsibility for. So it would also be a lot of work for us.

Yeah that's why you have to "SHOW YOURSELF" by pushing your way up from the bottom. Be a busy body and prove that you are serious about this whimsical notion of your being published on this website. The world doesn't frequently just give things away to anybody, at least not things of anyworth.

Kid Arctica's tone to Demon's post was completely appropriate. And his response of "Yes maam" was funny as hell to me because it just illustrates that if it was that easy to get published here, EVERYBODY would have an "article". Thus, nobody would read them. So what would be the point in that?
