View Full Version : Who will win CAL season 1?

its currently playoff time for the first ever CAL season of dota, i just wanted other peoples oppinions on who they think will win. For me i believe apex will pull it out and win although they might have the hardest road to the finals possibly facing Pandemic in the semis.

I hope either coL or TMD wins because they are both incredibly skilled and mannered clans. Besides, TMD gave my clan our first loss in CAL ^^.

i have no idea about the clans for dota. how u guys know who is good and who isnt? do u guys check out the reps or something?

cal standings of the season, although the season is over and the teams are now in playoff. but as you can see, TMD and col are both on the top of their division. and yes, replays gives a little bit of info about how well the team works together/skill level/ingame thinking/and about how well the clan farms(better farm = better items = advantage)

Follow the league? there're like over 100 clans...
How would u be able to get in games with them? pay them? that's like saying "AT with grubby"

you can get replays if you knew the people who plays in cal. or you can just go to their website. for example, http://complexityclan.com/

a lot of the top players play in the ihl(inhouse league) which is a more private form of dota games that i also have the privelage of playing in.

I dont know about you, but watching DotA's seems boring to me. Aren't they like 2+ hours long?

generally dota games are about an hour long give or take 10-20 mins either way. also replays have a nice litle thing that u can speed it up during the boring parts if u want to.

Watching DotA live would be pretty boring, so I don't see how implementing a HD broadcasting system is worth the trouble.

My vote goes to CoL

My team had some tough breaks in the tourney, discing vs WAC (Want a Cookie) when we clearly had the win, discing vs weak teams early on, and losing pointless scourge matches... finished 3-1-4 :/

clearly had the win? You mean when you had a good chance at a tie, seeing how your scourge was destroyed, and your sent was somehow surviving despite an idiotic furion who suicided three times in a row to people waiting in base. Oh wait, you were surviving because furion was the only one doing A SINGLE THING.

Good job, keep on it.

Actually DDA2 only lost to TMD once recently and not all starters were being used. Their lineup consists of Tangyass, Lord_Demon7, Rextacy, Valenti, Richie, and Psi_Stormer. Biblez and Skillz don't play much anymore.

As for who will win CAL, go coL!!!
