yea he is right. but i am not so sure( played lina and my laguna blade doesnt works and 4exaple bane can catch but u dont recieve any dmg in 6,28b but i am not so sure about it in 6,29b) but in real game (wc3 :) u are totally imune)

I have seen some heroes nuking naix when his avatar is activated. The magic is casted but the dmg wount be dealth to naix. I believe the magic still will be as an ordinary cast. Is this a bug?

I dont know about the ultimates but i believe that they shouldnt deal dmg.

Leshrac's ultimate does not deal damage through avatar but Diabolic Edict does. This is only because it is physical damage. Edict does 12.5x the level of the spell in damage per burst and it hits a random target every .25 seconds for 8 seconds duration. Some spells go through ultimates, very few. You can cast laguna blade and finger of death on an avatared unit but it will not deal any damage, so be careful. Spells like dismember and fiends grip will still disable the unit but deal no damage at all. Reaper's Scythe will stun the target for the 1.5 seconds but deal no damage at all. Blackhole, reverse polarity, and overgrowth will all go through avatar, though you can use BKB or N'aix's rage after overgrowth to break out of it. Doom cuts right through it and deals full damage. More or less her is the complete list.

Spells that completely ignore BKB
1. Any kind of bash
2. Siren: Ensnare
3. Leshrac: Diabolic Edict
4. Medusa: Purge
5. Techies: Suicide
6. Techies: Land mine
7. Axe: Counter Helix
8. Axe: Culling Blade
9: Void: Chronosphere (Doesn't work if BKB is activated during your cast time)
10: Nerubian Assasin: Vendetta
11: Death Prophet: Exorcism
12: Vengefull Spirit: Nether Swap
13: Doom Bringer: Doom
14: Enigma: Midnight Pulse

Spells that deal no damage, but still cause side effects on BKB users
1. Bane Elemental: Fiend's Grip
2. Necrolyte: Reaper's Scythe

Edict is the highest damage nuke in the game that is not an ultimate. Of course that is on the condition that you are alone and don't have a huge amount of armor. It does 1600 to a single target that has no armor, which is just amazing.

Ssorry to keep this post going but what about repel? (Omiknights magic immunity) Is it any different?

No. Repel = Avatar = Rage. They all have the same effect except for the fact repel can be removed by purge (diffusal or Medusa's ultimate.)
