Oh gawd!! Addicted like a crack-addict once again??

Okay so kinda :censored: up what happened...I'm just minding my own buisness surfing the net, searchin for something about my fav game Warcraft III right? When all of a sudden I come across this shit:

They got like nothing on the actual Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne anymore, and instead the whole front page was covered with DotA praise and rants and raves and I'm just like wtf? They got sponsered DotA clans now?!! And they say they're trying to get DotA in to WCG (LOL?!) as like, "The Counter-Strike of Warcraft". They also talk about trying to get blizzard to make a DotA ladder?!?! LIKE WTF?!?!?!

And there's just article after article on dota at this site and I was like, "What is going on here??" So whatever....I decided to play a game of DotA...Oh gawd! I played like 4 normal games since, and they were custom 1v1's....like I don't know what's happened, I'm addicted to dota..yet again...and last time I was addicted I ended up going back to normal game play and losing about 900 games IN A ROW because I, like forgot how to play!! So basically I blame DotA for messing up any skillz I had at WC before...And unfortunatly, I'm addicted again...and I think it could be messing up my frozen throne future...yet again...

So I was just wondering how many people have fallen in to this DotA black hole that I'm in right now as well....hopefully like...everyone :p That way I'm not alone :crybaby:

I used to be addicted to DotA somewhat, but now that I've joined a solo/AT clan I haven't played it for a long time, and I'm gonna try not too. Lol.

1)let me say that solo etc is becoming quite boring (sometimes dont flame me pls) if u are watching replays, thinking about game etc. u realize that there are few good strat u can use against certain race and u do it coz u want to win ( so u basickly play still same again, and there isnt not so much mannered guyes that try to inovate game style )
2) Before (6 month) i tried to play solo hard but wtf i played only against orc and if u met any other race u could celebrate. so another boring part of solo ( still same abuse, and i dont think its so funny against wyvers again and again, no flame thx :P)
3)tried dota. 1. Easy to play
2.dont need so much skill
3. still so many assholes xD ( be patient and dont answer or go
kick him into his balls)
ANd thats why is dota so popular. U can flame and no1 can say u are noob coz its hard to say who is noob in dota and who is not :).

And should be dota part of wcg, ladder etc? hell why not? We should be proud any1 is so good and made such a good map and added fun to wc3. Nowday it isnt only solo but its solo and dota and i think all should respect it. I remember time when evry1 was just flaming on Dota and secretly was playing it (kind of taBOO thing) but kow u can do it in publick and be proud of it. TIME has changed and only time will show. But i still feel dota like funny part of wc3( i dont take it serious) and if som1 say its like CS i think he is right(all abou cooperation becouse there isnt single skill. Of course u can kill all team in DOta/CS but its nearly impossible(i mean in game played at high lvl))

LoL, i was kinda havin that problem in solo too...Except it's not that I face orc all the time. It's that I never get to face HUMANS!! Like ever...and ya, when I get a HU opponent I celebrate :p Also, ya, you're right about the cookie cutter stuff, but that didn't really bother me much. I think one of the bigger reasons I play dota right now, is because I moved my laptop (which I've played WC on since I started playing WC) up to my room (like i'm definatly laying in bed "sick" right now :dancing: ) and so I have to use my wireless internet to play up here, and it gets real bad lag spikes. So out of respect to normal WC players, I don't play team games when on wireless, and I just can't solo with lag spikes like I have....BUT I CAN PLAY DOTA!!! :p

Absolute worst part of DotA (I have yet to get safelisted), is the maturity level of the players. I think average age is around 13 years old, which is sad, and makes for some real lame times. It's like I'm hanging out with a bunch of little kids when I play dota sometimes, which sucks a lot. But sometimes it can be ok....

same as in many other games we are just somethink like first game gameration. I am 21 years soon 22 years old and i still play PC games and sometime when u hit kidplayers thats just omg :crazy:
