Im just woundering since im new @ dota ^^'
i whent into a random game and got tiny (mauntan giant) i think his name was tiny @least and i was woundering if it works best to get sacred relic upgraded thingy dont know the name but it dmgs around you.
then 2 power threads since your gona hits so slow with all that dmg after lvl 16 or 18, lvl 3 ultimate skill

since if you go mass dmg/sacred relic thingy/ power threads you will move fast, hit fast and do mass dmg.

would that be any good or should a hero like him go for mass armor?

i am asking since i am noob @ dota :)

Early on tiny is meant to be played as a nuker. His spell combo (avalanche and toss) do 563 damage to the target you toss and 450 to the entire AOE on top of any damage you add on while they are stunned and in the air from toss. I usually get an Eul's Scepter of Divinity for some much needed extra mana and second disable for larger fights. After my Eul's I finish power treads and go down a couple different routes. Tiny is a bit of a indescript hero. He can pack a large punch with his attacks when he learns grow, he can nuke with the best of them and he can tank well with the correct items. That being said you should build him to what your team needs the most. Dagger is a great item when you become more proficient with his spells. Blink next to the enemy hero, toss him back to your team and avalanche him. It's a very easy way to pick off heroes when the other team is on the defensive. Think of him as the sentinel version of Pudge. I wouldn't suggest Radiance on tiny really, he doesn't need it. His combo kills an entire creep wave and 40 damage per second is really not that great in comparison to some of the other items you can get on the big guy. Don't get two power treads, if you want more attack speed get a hyperstone or hands of midas (not reccomended, but it works). He is very low on armor too so a Helm of the Dominator (+5 armor, 15% life leech) is a good item for him. You can also upgrade it to Satanic for alot of bonus health and insane life leech with your level three grow. Mess around with different builds until you find one you personally enjoy the most, that's what I suggest. Have fun, sir. I'll leave you with the correct build order for his skills.

Skill Build:

Avalanche
Toss
Avalanche
Toss
Avalanche
Toss
Avalanche
Toss
Craggy or Stats (Depends on the other team. If they have alot of melee, go craggy and if they don't, stick with stats.)
Grow

Craggy or Stats

yeah, all of the above is true. getting a hyperstone is a must for tiny due to his lack of attack speed.

Yeah, pretty much. Radiance isn't a bad item, you just have to weigh the cost of the item compared to what it provides for you in comparison to other items. You dont NEED radiance so it really goes to waste for the 5k+ that you spend on it. And having more than one power treads is always stupid because the move speed does not stack, so you just paid for an item that won't even work for you.

but its not the move speed that intrests me... its the attack speed

I realize but instead of wasting gold on getting move speed from the item you could just get something that gives purely attack speed, saving yourself money. Do you see what I mean here?

Hyperstone or Hands of Midas are the two pure attack speed items. Agility gives attack speed but is pointless on Tiny, so stick to a hyperstone or just treads.
