Get together for Dota!

We should all get together one of these days either on west or east server and play lan style dota.

AP only, no sm

Make teams and kinda do a round robin tourney style

I'd be up for it. I don't know if we'd be able to organize anything other than a few inhouse games, though. Seems like having an entire tournament would be a lot of work for DotA.

I'm on usually from like 6 Pm PST to whenever. But if you just message me / let me know I can usually play whenever, no earlier than 3 PM due to school. Either West or East is fine.

Edit- We should all agree on a time to meet in channel Clan WCR for an Inhouse or something like that. It would be fun.

sounds great to me, one of you staff members should start a thread in the member chat about this dota tournament, registeration and what not, people hardly check the Dota forums here at this point, the member chat or even the tournaments forum would be a better idea.

If we do manage to get a tournament going, GG-client would hopefully resolve the lag problem.

yeah for those who can use GG-client..., for me it crashes right after loggin, altough hamachi is always a viable option and as far as i know hamachi > bnet.

ah well, ill try to join the tourny if i 1: got someone to play with (dont got any friends playing <.<) and 2: the dates for the tourny is announced a good time ahead and dont fuck up with something i have to do.

well, i don't have a real team either, but maybe we could arrange some teams from the players that are joining or something, like if some staff member announced 5-6 team leaders, and those would pick their players to be on their team for the tourny then, would be fair this way imo, but again it all depends on how much will actually register for this tourny

This thread fails. As much as it will upset member chat, if we want to have a dota night, we really just have to throw up a thread in member chat. It'll go away. They'll get over it.
