If you're in an organized group a healing class that heals in PvP is always good.

when i played i never had any problems vs a druid, so i'd say they're best for healing and at AB i guess they are rather good to guard a flag, but i wouldn't advice you to make a druid if you want to pvp :)

Oomkins suck. Plus whenever I pvp be it group or solo they're always the first victims of the assist train, just to punish people for speccing into it.
If you really feel you must spec it for whatever reason, I strongly suggest investing in Noggenfoggers.

What are you guys talking about? Druids are one of the best PvP classes in IMO, especially in a 1v1 situation. They own in WSG, guard well in AB and idk about AV havnt really watched them that well in there.
Feral is best in 1v1 i think, resto best in group pvp. Balance just kinda sucks overall.
Druids are good in pvp, simply because every class is when used well.

I had a few "fun" (read: omgkillmenowbuticantloseafterfightingforthislong) epic 30-minute duels with Druids as a Shaman. Battle of teh regen!

Depends on what kind of pvp you're talking about.
Roots/starfire is a decent way of softening up melee classes in 1v1. Other than that starfire is absolutely useless, due to its long cast time.
Moonfire is a nice little dmg boost for 1v1, and in group pvp... well if you can spare the mana to cast it then you've already won the fight.
Most 1v1's as druid will be done in feral form and only shifting out to heal/moonfire once. In group pvp, druid damage simply cannot compare to dmg dealt by more specialized classes, therefore it's your task to keep them up. Druids are very good at surviving.

blah i wanted to make a class that could heal, cast good offensive spells, and melee alittle bit. i guess that would mean i should make a shaman but i wanted to be a nightelf :(

You cant be good at everything with a shaman either -_-
Being a hybrid means you can do all three, but you're simply less good at it than other classes. Ofcourse you can spec balance and spend all your time moonfiring people, but it's much less likely that you will be taken in pvp groups (or raids for that matter), and you'll probably regret it when you moonfire someone for 500, while the mage next to you crits his frostbolt for 2.5k.
