"Actually not exactly, guess i'll pop in for a history lesson, I'm not sure if this has been told before in member chat. He wanted to introduce one of those "premium member"/charge people for content things, while still expecting the staff to work for free to make money for him. All the while treating everyone like shit and taking everyone for granted, total social retard who obviously didn't realize that having no staff = no website, which we gave him first hand evidence of. hope he enjoyed spending his $9000 on a domain name ROFL. oh there was some dramas and stuff when the site closed, vvolf managed to copy/paste some logs from the admin forums and post them on the front page i believe. Anyway once the old site died/everyone quit, rainvision felt guilty for selling the old site so some manipulative asshole(me) managed to get him to actually start up another one, the initial servers which we found were actually really cheap(cheaper than the old sites and more bandwidth - the servers on the old site was also a major issue contributing to its downfall since traffic was getting to the point where at peak times it wasn't loading, and i had been asking for a server upgrade for weeks - which he kept pushing/ignored/was a total asshole about), rainvision still had the rights to VB forums so that was easy, silk programmed the new replay/news upload system which i really wanted(remember the old sites shitty daily updates? that took a staff member nearly an hour a day to do - not counting how long it took to do each individual replay - that was just the news post), a few people submitted site designs but they were pretty shitty so after bitching at tank for awhile he finally did one(which i wasnt entirely happy about but it was alot better than the alternatives). at around this point i really overworked myself since i was in charge of well.... everything, raged about something silly, and quit, so that's it from me~ but that was only a few days before this site opened, i think kida took most of my responsibilities and obviously did a fine job with them" -Mez '08
