I agree with what you said, but Buildings are the thing you attack last. If you do have the chance, its because your opponent was out of position without a TP. When your arguing about whether or not its worth upgrading spikes in a Orc Mirror... I suppose you must ask yourself, do I expect to be such a big noob that my opponent will get the chance to attack my buildings for long enough so my BASE does enough reciprocal damage to make the effect worth while for being out of position.

I don't think that your message was directed at me if you look on my profile, but it's perfectly fine to attack buildings in orc mirror. Orc units are really not low dps, and raiders do a ton of damage vs buildings, not to mention pillage offers a nice bonus. The shop, beast, lodge, even barracks or great hall are often good to target because it makes a big difference. You can often kill something before he gets there, esp if he doesn't have a TP. Burrows are also pretty weak. I wouldn't base my strategy around destroying buildings, but it's a nice tactic. Sometimes you can even adapt your game to be about destroying buildings, ie you have an expo so you basically come out ahead in any base race situation if you play it right because it's 2 base vs 1. Just some thoughts.
