Yeah, I started down the audiophile world with speakers, but I soon realized that headphones were a much more viable option for me economically. So yeah, here I am :D Don't worry, I'll be upgrading in a few years :P Btw, what speakers do you have again?

Nah bro, I was gonna buy them used, but I figured that due to their reputation for breaking apart easily, I would rather know exactly how much stress they've been put under (something that I'd never be able to completely find out from the previous owner if I bought them used). And yeah, I've been taking good care of them so far (except for the mods I've been doing on them, obviously :P). If they do develop cracks, I'll probably try to patch them up, despite how ugly they might look, haha :P Let me know if you get a chance to try out the HD800's though! It's something that I'll always dream of owning but probably never will, like a Lamborghini :P

Dear Mr.KoKeNo, I would like to inform you that I purchased a pair of Sennheiser HD555's (even though I know what you think of them) and I did the foam mod and the soundstage mod on them. Just out of curiosity, did you ever make any mods while you owned them?
