hey man, half a liter a milk is gonna destroy your program, I know that because I was doing that mistake alot too myself. Actually even milk products, are bad while you want to lose fat. I read an article with charts that was comparing the effects of milk and other foods to the insulin level.

In short it says that milk, yoghurt etc., spike the insulin levels very high, even though they are low GI foods. Actually the whole GI idea is very flawed. The bananas which are very high in the GI index (4x the milk score) have lower than 1/3 of the effect milk has. (1 banana vs 1 glass of milk).

So just cut the milk products entirely, drink your protein with water, eat some fruits (1 banana + protein shake is very good for your second meal of the day) and you are ok :D

Also I've read about losing muscle and such bs... From my exp you cant lose muscle that easy, last week i was at 11% bf and I was eating around 1100 kcals a day! (my maintenace is about 2500). I lost around 1 kg of fat, putting me to 9.5 yay! :D

I was eating alot of fish, chicken and protein shakes though.

So try different things and see what is working for you! 80% of fat loss is diet and proper rest though.

I did not realize you were trolling with your statement about working at that clinic, sorry. It's an issue that really makes me sad and I might have overreacted in some of those posts.

In my defense, at least one study that I'm aware of estimated around 80% of women in Cairo suffered FGM when surveyed in 1980 or so, and that it had been a high percentage for at least 20 years before that. I'm not sure what the rate is now, perhaps as you said it's really dropped to 3%, but I remember reading as recently as 2006? 2007? That a small minority of clerics had tried to make the case that FGM was not actually acceptable in Islam, so it seemed to still be a problem in some cases.

I do recognize that culture in Saudi Arabia is extremely different from Egypt, but my understanding from my (admittedly limited) following of women's rights in the middle east is that some of the same same problems SA has are still prevalent in Egypt. Women are still fighting for equal rights in family courts and such for divorces, for the legal right to be included in the judicial system appropriately, etc. These are not insignificant issues.

If any of my comments sounded hateful, I apologize but that was not intended. The motivation has nothing to do with "Arabs" but frustration with government and culture influenced heavily by religion, as you surely admit Egypt is? If I recall properly, the Egyptian Constitution implies that laws must adhere to Islamic law, at least loosely. This is the kind of thing that is very upsetting. Many of us in the US work to keep religion out of our government, but still we have a few archaic things (like "In God We Trust" on our money, etc.).
