TvT is awesome :]
You just gotta play it macro-style. I usually scout as soon as the depot SCV has finished building, so I see proxies very early, block tech labs to delay reapers and see if they go heavy bio or straight into mech. I usually go straight into FE and tanks and vikings (on maps like LT you can skip bio). Start saturating your FE and get excellent positioning for a frontal assault, your vikings scout everywhere to anticipate expos and drops. What you do in the meantime is because of excess minerals you can expo very aggressively, fill it with 5 scvs, drop, unload, upgrade to PF and build two turrets. You keep doing that while you annoy your enemy with 2 banshees (not more) and your mass vikings. Any frontal bio or mech assault will be evaporated by tanks and you can also drop on cliffs to annoy him. A good strategy if he has bio is to bait his army with your banshees into sieged tanks on a cliff. Vikings are key in this match-up and with all your expos, youll start pumping vikings out of dozens of starports and upgrade air etc.
If he enters the Viking massing too late, you'll evaporate him, if he avoids it by going Thors, you should instantly build 10 rax and start massing stimrauders.
I always build more startports than upgrading reactors, so I can add tech labs to them and pump banshees just in case and can later add ravens if he is engaging into the viking massing full force as PDDs rule there. If my enemy keeps on producing a solid unit mix, I usually bank some ressources and build enough defenses across the map (you'll see, having half the map or more expoed enables you to build even PFs on key positions with some tanks and turrets while your 3-3 viking fleet darkens the sky) and at some point, I produce BCs into 200/200 in one startport volley (so you need a shitton of starports). After 90 seconds, your fleet will catch your enemy usually completely off-guard and he can never ever counter it if he hasn't yet crazy massed vikings (against which you don't switch to BCs). You can try it, but macro heavy really means that you're building starports, expos, raxes, depots, turrets, sensor towers like a madman and your style focuses around annoying your enemy all the time so he focuses too much on your very few units that deal some damage unable to scout your mass expo in time (as he usually has only time to react until the PF is upgraded, then he'll have to make a full-on assault to win it and you'll have some tanks there to deal huge damage to his army while your viking army lands and kills all the enemy production facilities)
It's the coolest way to play the game imo, I usually play it only against very high level players though as it requires a lot of time to win ^_^
