I need micro help badly, please help.
Practice makes perfect. Play alot of games, and see how you can improve. Their are several audios that you can listen to, but really all you have to do is play. Hotkey your units, and try to stay in control during a battle. If you play games you will be able to improve.
The first step to getting good micro is modifying customkeys.txt to something a little bit less insane than the defaults. Just because Grubby can get away with using the regular Blizzard hotkeys doesn't mean you should. Why punish yourself by having to reach over to the O key to make a Burrow or stretch all the way over to the M key to surround?
Try to set all your hotkeys on one side of the keyboard, your micro will definitely improve when you do. When your hotkeys are perfectly comfortable, you'll never once need to click on that lower right panel with the mouse, which helps a lot in micro and macro.
Man, use keycraft to designate 3 keys to control all activateable abilities from all units. For instance, say for human: Go into keycraft and map slow, dispell, blizzard, bolt, banish, etc -- basically one of the activateables from each unit type/hero to one key, like "q". Then use "q" according to what unit you have selected. Do the same for say, "w" and "e" for all the other abilities. Now your hand hardly has to move. Just select unit/group, and hit one of the three keys. You could assign "build to q too, you know? Basically, boil everything down to as few keys as possible.
After that, all it takes is playtime to get used to your keys - something that will be made more quick and efficient this way.

i think if u play enough, u understand the hotkeys already for the units
smurf and just practice micro with bizzare unit combos.
u really need to get custom hotkeys, they help a lot. and just smurf, try different units and use their abiltes with your hotkeys then you will get used to them, atleast thats what i did.
dont brother with micro.Just choose NE and make attack-move + mass tier 1 with ktg.
I can sure u that automatically u will have a 60% lvl 30 aka, and if u play this in team games, lvl 40 70%....^^
