top 8 players - 4 from amateur and 3 from professional + Moon gets a seed because he finished top 3 last year at WCG.

I think they used double elim somewhere in progamer bracket^^ not sure maybe for top4.

Minhyuk has progamer status while Focus doesnt?? seems strange.. i thought you needed 2/3 world titles to get the progamer licence?

where is Lyn, SoJu, ReiGn??

yeh, focus doesnt have them he has one top3 finish from AWL Season 2, but u need 2 or 3 top 3 finishes from kespa approved events, min has them because he played some WGT tours last year.

FoV has a good history of shutting down Moon in this event.

I expect the same this year. FoV FTW!

Moon is awesome currently. Qualified through all tournaments: ESWC, WCG offline, Bnet, IEF,....The only matchup concerned him atm is NE mirror I think. He is so unstable in this matchup, especially with players have playstyle like Remind, Shy, Soccer.

Moon has won more of the series as of late, yes, but FoV beat him at NSL and the series at BWII was very close also... and both of those were played in 1.21

Wait, seriously? FoV beat Moon at NSL? In NSL 2 I'm quite sure Moon didn't lose to FoV - He lost to Susiria in the group stage and then Remind and Lyn in the elimination iirc. NSL 1, you may be correct, but I'm looking at the finals now, and Moon beat FoV twice - Once 2-0, and the other time 3-2.

Look yes I know FoV does often have close matches vs Moon, but the point is that while FoV did have a history of defeating Moon, especially in qualifiers, the point remains that in the last year and a half or so, Moon has utterly demolished FoV. In 07, I can't recall a single BO3/5 that Moon lost to an Undead. Maybe he did, but if so, there weren't many.

And @ LaughingSkull - I got the FoV 2-0 SoJu from the Fnatic thing lol. But yeah.. I remember too much.

I'm going to quit Scene News as of tomorrow.
