Default Uploading SC2 Replays on Youtube

Can a professional tell me how to do this please? I want to upload some of my replays on Youtube just for a collection.

well im afraid im not really a professional, but you could just download fraps or one of the other half dozen recording programs, i know fraps for sure works with sc2. then record the rep as you watch it, save it in a video file and then upload. sorry if this isnt detailed or what you had in mind :/

Lazz has it; get the full version of Fraps or GameCam and record your replays as they play. Compress the file, edit as necessary, upload to YouTube! Note you'll need a very fast computer to film SC2 on high settings, you pretty much always have to take the graphics down a notch from what you have them on at the moment to get a decent framerate.

Remember that you need the resolution 1280*720 to get the 720p treatment from youtube, or 1920*1080 to get the 1080p treatment.
It's also (afaik) a good idea to write to another disk than the system disk that you run sc2 on if you have enother internal HDD.

.. you also need a shitload of disk space, so I wouldn't waste my time on uploading just some replays. I'd only do the very best.

This. I had a friend who used to do what you're about to do and this was his biggest problem by far. He used frapps to record WC3 replays so as others said already it should work for SC2.

What on earth are you placing onto your pc? Do you just never delete stuff? I'm guessing it's all the hentai and porn you have on there. Sheesh! I have a 221 GB laptop and I manage to make it work. Over indulgence much lol

No, he just records videos with Fraps. As I've said, you need enormous amounts of disk space to store uncompressed video material recorded with Fraps, before you compress it via VirtualDub.

I like how you assume I'm going to record every single game I play for about fifty games, and then just leave the original uncompressed files lying around. Thanks for your concern, but I think that I trust my estimation skills enough to not run out of harddrive space when uploading videos.

This too, but I think kyubi is talking about the space already occupied.

I sure hope you're not going to try and record videos on your os drive (which seems so since you have a laptop). The performance is going to suck balls.

"good quality" is very subjective.
