Is there any chance Blizzard would still ban for "offensive" names?

Much has been made of how Blizz is derelict in their care of wc3 and they don't ban hackers. That being said, is there even the slightest possibility they would ban for an "inappropriate" name, clan or otherwise? It seems like if someone named H1tlerISGOD or someone became rank 1 and a few people complained (especially by phone?) they would do consider doing something about it, despite their lack of maintenance of WC3, just due to the sheer bad publicity of having that in any visible position on their servers.

But reason I ask is I just made Clan Jesus Died. Move On and wouldn't want the whole thing to be scrapped if somebody complains.

Am I in the clear, or would they ban this for a "dead game" under any circumstance?

No, first of all your name is not offensive, it based on a troll and it is true.
I've send about 36 hackers to blizzard and none of them got banned, nor I got a single reply.

I think if you destroyed all 4 servers you get some flowers and a thank you card from Blizzard because the wc3 department was to lazy to pull the plug themselves.

I don't think you'd get a ban for it, but the name is a terms violation. Whether or not they'll act is a roll of the dice. Worst case scenario is your clan gets disbanded IMO.

There two clans in Frozen Throne GBR-1 are TWAT and WANK, with names like SuckMyWANK etc been there for years so I think you'll be okay.

you won't get banned I used to make a lewd name over and over. They won't ban you but they will eventually delete the account.

I think it is. But it gives you a warning at least a week, maybe two, before disbanding your clan. The message is in red and you see it every time you enter the channel (as chieftain.. not sure about as a shaman/grunt). All you'd have to do is make a few alt accounts once a month, and make one of the shaman invite you.

And if you are the only person in your clan, then you'd need a bot to do this. But if your the only person, I wouldn't really see the point in keeping a clan.

Oh good, as long as it warns you. Nah I added like 20 random noobs to prevent the problem just in case.

I remember on West, a guy named Chunster made a clan named Clan NiG. Then someone from a different clan reported the clan to battlenet. Chunsters 1500+ wins with random got banned and the clan was disbanded. Thats the only time ive seen Blizzard take action against something "offending"
