Curious about Lurker stats
No, I'm not talking about SC:BW units... I'm talking about WCR forum lurkers. I'm a proud lurker myself, checking the site a few times a day and almost always resisting temptations to post. I was wondering if Chicas or Dahnjin have methods for tracking time spent online and if we could see any data of time lurking vs. post count.
A silly thought, I wanted to share with you guys. |

I'm 99% sure WCR doesn't log individual members everytime you connect and disconnect to the site.
Best indicator is see who is online, Currently Active Users: 152 (41 members and 111 guests), most of them I at least recognise.

There's the 90/9/1 rule, where 90% lurk, 9% contribute, and 1% bring in newer ideas (start threads).

I consider myself a lurker, although I'm nothing compared to RaCeCaR. I definitely spend a lot of time browsing the site though, like you JoshKing. I probably check the site a couple of times a day, but very rarely post since I usually don't feel like I have anything to add.
Edit: Been lurking since 05 (?), but only made an account in 06 for the record. |
