I'm reading now, will comment more later, but yeah. I think i missed out and have the best of both worlds, since i still had 'analog' porn/games and it wasn't as readily available when i was in puberty as it is now, and yeah, i also had games from the start but when they weren't an online 24/7 bullshit like blizzard is trying to make it to be now. I still went to hang out with friends, rode bikes, did bongs at schools/houses under construction etc, did all that shit. Dunno about the kids of this generation.. too much toys and gadgets for them to be 'distracted' by.

As for the porn side, i can't really comment since i've always been 'good' with the girls since i was young, and i don't really have libido for a long time because of my 'drug problems' and 'depression', and now mainly because of my philosophy(being single, not 'settling down' etc). So yeah, net porn has never been a 'problem' for me or stopped me from getting women or being sociable with them, since i picked up a lot of women in the past on the net back in the IRC/Geocities days, pre MSN/Myspace/FB etc. Those days were the shit, all noobs and politically correct mother fuckers online now.

Heh, this is basically all about addiction. I've had the 'mother of all addictions' in H, and i've also experienced this 'new and novel phenomenon' of 'anti social behaviour'(which i don't really consider anti social, it's just that society is changed and the mentality society has doesn't sit well with me right now.. so why would i want to be 'social' with these guys i don't like?). I've basically had all these 'addictions' and indulged in them to the max. Drugs, games, sex/porn. I'm basically finding a nice balance right now.

I'm just telling you guys about my experiences, i don't need to 're-assure' myself. Why does that achieve? Past is the past and can't be changed, i'm a man 'living in the moment' right now(which of course i will pay for in the future).

Protecting my ego/rep on this forum of strangers(relatively) or something? Who cares about that, i just want to move on and keep experiencing new exciting and novel things like the talk is basically about(which makes me a 'prime candidate' for being addicted to anything, because i kind of like 'addiction' and the ups and downs in a masochistic way, and i'd argue that it's my 'nature' and affinity for trying new shit that made me live the way i do now and my past(drugs etc).. but then i also have conflicts against that because i want to live a 'boring balanced life'(and 'enlightened' life) in the end(might also be clinically diagnosed as 'insane' by society at the same time and mistreated/misunderstood and unacknowledged during their lifetime as a lot of 'genius's are, heh), so that's kind of like the 'duality of man' shit that i always bring up.

Anyway, the video is loading still(capped), i'll comment more later when i've watched it. I'd be interested in hearing about how your own experiences differ or back up his premise or conclusions. I have had a lot of experience in all kinds of 'addictions'(drugs/sex/porn/anti social shit on comp and not going out with douchebags who do boring shit) so i'm sure i can relate to what the rest of you guys are going through right now having gone through some of them myself. Just curious as to what everyones 'addictions' and 'skeletons in the closet' are. We know that we all have them. You guys know about mine, let's hear some of yours and where you guys would like to change your life/lifestyle. This can be a "WCR's addiction thread".

So to everyone here, i ask.. what is YOUR addiction? And don't tell me you don't have one. If you don't, then just don't reply.

Also, i don't know about 'ruining' a generation. It's just that times are changing, many of us don't want to have more than 1 kid, some don't even want A kid etc. It's just the lawmakers and society etc are too slow to catch up with the new developing and changing society and their children. They are teaching last generations lessons to a new world that they have no clue about.. certainly less than the ones who grew up in the technological age. Look at all the old farts over 50 etc.. they are mostly lost and confused, but they are the ones running the show..(companies/gov/world etc).

Agreed. Go to your local wal-mart if you don't believe. Parenting determines the personality traits of children for better or worse. A child becomes what the parent is willing and mentally able to put in. A child's actions are a result of his traits developed in childhood.

50 porn clips a week they said an average guy watches in the video.. noway i watch that man(on avg? probably once every few days, although i do have some 'binges' of course, but nothing to tip the avg that much) lol, but i'd be curious as to see how many times you guys visit porn sites.. heh, i bet they are the first things that pop out in the URL bar if you don't regularly clear your cache.. haha

Do you guys think with the advent of internet(porn) and the digital age, that guys are tossing off more than they were during the 'analog' days? Social interaction, sure. I can see there being WAYYY less. Hanging out at malls and arcades etc.. i don't really see that these days, but yeah, i guess i don't stalk high school kids so i dunno what they get up to these days but i'm guessing in most urban developed western cities, they'd probably be playing games for a LOT of that time, and ISOLATED, possibly they don't even play or go riding bikes and exploring shit etc after school, but just watch porn and play games and chat with their friends online etc..

what's wrong with a lot of porn? nothing imho, but that's my attitude, 'societies' probably differs to ours and 'porn watchers' who are 'freaks', when most males watch porn/toss/would have trashy sex with a nice random slut regardless of how 'high status' you are. You hear of all the politicians saying 'think/protect the kids!', when in reality they are the ones exploiting/abusing them, or they are gay bashers, and then in future they are found out to be gay.
