New gaming rigs and solid state drives

I have an SSD at work, and I love how it boots in less than a minute. What is the best practice for building new rigs with ssds and hdd?

Has anyone done this, especially regardnig steam? My inital thought is to get both drives, put OS on ssd, install steam on hdd, and install my favorite games on ssd.

I built a new PC 3 and a half years ago, and my SSD is "only" 120 GB.

SSD: Main OS + "main game" (BF3, now BF4)
    HDD: Everything else

I don't think that there's another way to do it. Favorite games doesn't necessarily imply they would benefit from a solid state drive.

You can change path in Steam easily when installing games.
But yeah, almost as JJ said, most games doesn't benefit majorly from SSDs. BF is a nice pick, due to frequent loading \ server hopping.

Civ Beyond Earth can chill on my hdd.
