Ludum Dare 31: Entire Game On One Screen - anyone competing?

My current thought is some sort of maze runner ish type thing? I guess where you run through a level but as you run through it the area you complete dynamically gets harder, and when you reach the end it loops back to the start.

The final "level", or I guess better put "loop", will be a very big clusterfuck of traps and spikes and who knows what else. I'm not sure exactly how I want to represent it though.

It's about making a game from "scratch" in 48 hours by yourself, alternatively in 72 hours as a team and/or using free assets such as royalty free music/sounds/art/etc.
