    Need help computer experts

    So recently i been playing WoW and all the suddden when i go to launch the game my monitor shuts off and i hear sound for 3 seconds somtimes not at all and bam comp locks up and i have to restart... so i tried reinstalling drivers checking for loose things in computer and now its happening when i launch wc3 and even happened once when i was browsing Firefox.. I believe its power supply but i want others opinions, thanks.

    VGA Overheating

    Is it an old crappy crt monitor? Try lower resolution and see if that works.

    i tried a differnt monitor same issue and what you mean faulty HDD?
    im playing SC now and its going fine, the issue really protains to thinks that require graphics for the card to run harder.

    Faulty means that some sectors in your hard drive are bad and the files on them are corrupted. The system can hang/restart when it tries to read these corrupted data. Since this symptom of yours spread from one app to the next it's very possible.

    sounds more like a video issue. check monitor/vcard. scan for viruses, use latest vid/monitor drivers.
