    Boosting my wlan signal.

    there are a lot of wireless signals in my area using linksys or netgear, but most are secure. there are a few unsecured, but i can only rarely get a signal and even then its very low. i am using a Broadcom 802.1 wlan and have tried boosting the power output and updating the driver, but that seemed to only make it worse.

    any ideas on how to get a better signal?
